Jack Butland has left the club for 66m and will be replaced by one of these youths, good little bidding war on him.

New Team added

As usual I was not able to coach my teams during the weekend, but I got some really good results - and one upsetting one.

FC Dreamhunter

We ended the League in style and the second league-win in a row. I did not add any new players yet as I am quite satisfied with my line-up right now. I expect to make some minor changes during the season though. The first Cup-match brought a very interesting result - we won 7-3 (after leading 7-1 after 80 minutes) against a slightly stronger team. So I am very optimistic about today's game - although I won't be able to be present during the match (the same as yesterday).

We hope to advance to the next level this season as well as qualifying for the CL. Of course we hope to be on top, but this will depend on our opponents. There are still some tokens left, but again - we will be patient and see how things develop. We also have nearly 10 mio in cash which is IMHO quite good for Level 4.

FC Sakura

This team won its first CL-Title on Friday midnight (I was in Moscow and so two hours time-difference) with a convincing 5-1 victory. Just five minutes before the game I decided to change the strategy and added a second striker who has in fact the lowest quality of all my offensive players but received excellent ratings everytime I brought him. Well, he scored two goals, gave one assist and became MoM again!

The Cup started with a 2-0 away-victory. We bought a Scout-Player (AMC/AML) and replaced the current player in this position and he scored one goal and became MoM. This morning our academy released two young players, one of them is really promising (funny enough - again AMC/AML) and a great back-up. We will see if we power-train him. One of our defenders broke his leg during stretching and is out now for 16 days...

Overall Sakura ended the whole season unbeaten!!! In the cup we were ousted after two draws because of the away-goal-rule.

Berkshire Utd

After winning the cup it seemed that the players were very tired and not focused enough - so we lost the last game 0-1 and spoiled a perfect 26-0-0 season. But the cup-win makes up for many things!

Berkshire bought a new goalkeeper - 19 years old - and had him played in the first cup-match. Unfortunately I was not able to attend this game and the team lost surprisingly 1-4!! The last two goals we conceded in the 84th and 88th minute. The rating for the GK was 4 :-(

We hope that he will improve his performance soon. Today he will be replaced by our standard-GK who has lower quality but more experience. I still believe that we can advance given the fact that also two other important players had a really bad day.

New Team to coach - Teresa FC

Five days ago I took over a team from a friend who was not interested anymore and actually hadn't done anything with his team since registering. He is in the same league with Sakura and I found it challenging to manage a 35-Token-Team. The last five games were really interesting - 1 Draw and 4 Wins did not only seal the advancement to Level 3 but also the 4th place and qualification for the CL. But it was very challenging as in round 24 and 25 this team lost 5 players due to injuries :-(. With only 14 players left we managed a 4-3 and finally a 1-0 away-win against the then 4th placed team. Right now I am trying to get the morale and condition up (with no tokens left to buy health-packets this takes a lot of time...). I used some money to buy new players who were on the market and where nobody else bid on them (No wasting of Tokens!!!). This was important as the contracts of 5 players actually ended - players I really did not want to keep anyway. It is important to advance in the cup and the money for the CL will also be used to improve the quality of the team. Yesterday's cup-match we won 3-0 and as we have today a better team we are positive to advance.

2* GK sold for 52M so I will now sign 4* GK who replaces 3* Butland, ya get me!

pretty easy season for me this year after winning league and champs league last year. Plan is to watch vids for packs but not use them, stick with the exact same team as last year as its still good enough to compete.

Goals are to win the league again and progress as far in the champs league as possible, then one more season of the same before I tank 2 seasons again
