1. Does the engine decided to injure players that are crucial to our teams, or is it totally random?

2. Do you tweak formations throughout the game? For example 4-5-1V used to dominate most others, now it seems like the standard 4-4-2 has increased in power, and I could say the same about the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond.

Thanks; can you give little more information about "By teaching them to your players, they will have a slight edge in certain situations" - how much of an edge?

If there are two players of the same quality, and then I spend 40 points to fully develop one player's special ability, and another 40 points on another player's general skills, which player will be more skilled?

a special ability doesn't increase the market value of a player but your player will be more skilled only in certain situations!

So, if a player has special abilities is not necessarily stronger than a player without them!

Reading between the lines, the answer is clearly that it's not worth it. The Unofficial Guide by Julie 4th concurs. I myself also saw "free kick specialist" missing one free kick after another, and "corner specialist" making no difference in a corner. If any difference in the probabilities game engine takes into account in these situations exists, it's tiny.

I dont think that any of SA works. I have plenty of them but they work. I dont think so. They work only in comentary. When the generate comentary for the game they probably take in to account SA. So if you have some arrial deffenter you probably have more chances to se taht your deffender save the ball with his header.

Well as far as commentaries are concerned, they are shown to be performing their job well i.e they make headed clearanced atleast in commentaries. They also get good ratings but I believe ratings are more or less random. They are also seen making many tackles atleast in commentaries. Almost all my best DCs have been Aerial Defender. TBH, I have seen a considerable difference In the goals I concede when I play with an aerial def than when I do not. When I play ADs, then the no. Of one-on-one chances to my opponents also decrease. Well it may just be a coincidence that whichever AD I have bought have turned out to be good.... But I feel that it works much more(at least for me) than other SAs. Pen specialists and Playmakers are absolutely pathetic. I have my 1st ever SHadow Striker right now and after 10 matches he has no goals and no assists for me. FK and CK specialists seem to make no difference. When I started the game they seemed to, maybe becoz the players themselves were good, but not anymore. Pen stoppers are no good too. Dribblers have given me mixed results. They seem to start well but slowly stop performing, but Balezdrov was a dribbler, he was legendary. But this may again be a coincidence of him being a good player......Def Walls are average, make not much difference. One on One scorers never score from 1 on 1 situations but score otherwise. Jokic was a good one. One on One stoppers are actually the only keepers that make saves for me. Those without this SA just let goals go in, atleast for me......
So overall I feel that Aerial Defenders are good, its no use training them the SA, but if u see one good Q one in Market, u should go for it
