I bought a scout DMC playmaker for both my teams GL & VA last season.

Kovacs for Go Leo has been massive. He isnt a designated setpiece specialist but he scores a lot from outside the box and blocks a lot of shots.
Boldrini for Very Athletic is starting to become massive this season after I assigned him as cornerkick taker. He usually gets 5-6 rating last season but I noticed that he blocks a lot of shots. So he is usefull. Once he started to score and provide assists his rating went up.

I have not had much luck with MC scouts tho as Borges for VA is inconsistent despite me trying to play him on the left or right and even passing thru the middle. Anani for GL was ok for a few seasons, not phenomenal.

But like I;ve always say, scouts are long term investments, not a quick fix. And it's true what Cat says, it's all about the skill point allocation once you get them..
