I would never tank a team, but I have no problem with those that do.

For me, I would rather play at the highest level each season - and to do that I would have to get promoted. That is thus the main aim/goal each season, with CL football a bonus if possible.

I've seen some comments about how some people tank if they can't get in the Champions League because they will miss out on the extra games/fans/money if they got promoted in 7th. What they don't seem to realise is that by tanking they are still missing out on CL football, but also they are doing it at a lower level the year after.

While there is merit in saying its better to tank to get a stronger squad at that level (two seasons to develop players instead of one), for me it doesn't really make sense or make it worth while.
