I always take the legend coins whenever they appear for 300 RP each because they don't come around often, I'm a long way behind you at L42 but then again you started the game a long time before me, just like I started T11 a long time before you did so it balances it out there, I haven't spent any money on RP since its not like I can spend it all on legend coins to unlock the legends immediately, My current legend coins from left to right are 4,1,0,0,0,2,1,4. I was thinking looking at player ratings that it wold of been better to train players from 'gold' all the way up rather than buy 'black' off the market. My Current Ranking is #61 in the December 22 pool.Quote:

Well I play a season everyday and some seasons I stay "down" without getting promoted a few seasons to build up euros and RPs, those legend coins have been available to me since L17 I believe and they only appear on average once every 3 days. I was training gold to black because the strikers are like 200 red 120 orange at titanium and not much more for black, and I got Danny Welbeck upto 280 red 157 orange once he reached Titanium, he's level will be insane if I train him all the way upto wild.Quote:

I just beat a few new 'World Clubs' and got a new coach and he improved my attack by 30 points without doing to much damage to my defence or midfield rating, He gives Olivier Giroud a 2.5x Red Bonus and a 3.0x Green Bonus... Olivier Giroud is my all-time top scorer with 947 goals from 1,115 games. In a game earlier today I was losing 5-0 would you believe then the 'legend' Olivier Giroud scored 5 goals in 4 minutes to earn us a 5-5 draw lol... thats not very realistic isnt it?Quote:

I only won once in the last 5 games, lost 2 and had 2 draws, before this I was well ahead of second place, now I'm only one point, and everybody is f*ckin active. The game just seems to do this, everytime I get a few points between me and my opposition, I suddenly lose games like crazy. It's very annoying and un-realistic.

In the CL i'm luckier than in the Cup.
The other 3 Managers with 30+ QL are all on the top and will fight eachother for the finals. I've it a bit easier.

I've been logged in for most of the afternoon thank goodness.
The CL KO's got off to a flyer in Brazil against 'bugader FC'.
The match started off very tight with the home team playing 3W-2N-2W-2N-1, I played this formation a great deal at L2 & L3 so I know what is capable of, so we lined up in direct opposition with, 3W-2N-2-2W-1 hoping to control the centre of the park, both managers were on the touch line and Ravers had the possession at 65/45, 15 shots each with some very worrying tackling stats for us as it was set to normal and then backed off to easy at H/T still managed to finish with 19 tackles and 15 fouls unheard of for a Ravers team.
The deadlock was finally broken on 34 minutes with Forrest (the dribbler) making a dazzling run through the defence and playing the ball square for Garner to tuck away.
Ravers were certainly feeling the tension attack after attack was rained on the defence but they stood strong, Keeley standing firm to all on comers.
A further slight tweak to the orders was made at H/T switching from Ravers shorter passing game to a more direct mixed approach.
The attacks seemed to be reduced and Ravers started to increase the shots on target with their keeper playing a blinder.
Haddad picked the ball up deep in his half carrying down the left flank played it down the wing for Wilcox who crossed for Sherwood launching himself at the ball heading home.
Wilcox's silky skill again proved the undoing of the Brazilian defence leaving them in his wake and powering his shot into the top corner.
0-3 to Rovers and looking good to progress, none the richer I might add as maximum bonus was on offer for the win (500k).

We take a huge step into the next round. Suarez got us off the mark then Rasmussen from a corner, both set up by Petersen.
2nd half - Mrbom FC went for a 3W- 3n-1-3. That showed their intention on getting back. And they did, Hernandez from a counter move making it 2-1.
We switched to the 4-5-1 v for more defensive cover and attacking options. Their 3 wide defenders were murdered after this change. A quick Petersen double put the tie to rest, giving us a huge lead into the next leg.
