Well so far, so good I'm 1st at the CL group standing, which I think is going to last. I'm also one of the strongest teams so the future is looking bright.
I won the fist play-off for the cup with 4-1 (away), our teams are even quality and I'm guessing tomorrow he's going to use some attacking formation.
My leaque postion; 4th, I've lost two matches. One against a big rival of mine and another to a much weaker team.
I've bought three transfer free players (at 5 a.m. for 1 token each ) and sold them again, so I'm allready able to buy some good new players next season.
Meanwhile my absolute best player had 4 injuries in one week. My new tactic is to let him rest when facing weaker teams
Make his phys stats as high as his attack. I think it helps a lot.
(Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I can only say I have had two injuries on my Team this Season.. but I'm out of Cup so odds are better)
Expressed above is my own opinion. ☻ Your results may vary.

League: Buffs FC were on their travels tomeet the 2nd placed side from the Buffs lowly 8th place.
Both sides were equally matched but Buffs Mad had now grown a pair in light of recent league performances and was focussed on attack. The home side adopted their usual 4-1-3-2 and the Buffs signalled their boom or bust intent with an attacking 3N-1-2-2W-2.
Both managers were present.
The game started at break-neck speed and the home side took the lead in 2 mins after ST McCoist pulled a shirt outside the box. (Seemed like the referee wanted to get the Buffs obligatory caution out the way early.)
And so it continued - from end to end like a ferret in a shoe box. The Buffs levelled in the 9th minute through AML Johnstone, took the lead on 13 mins through ST McCoist. But the home side wre full of threat too.
No changes at HT and the frenzy continued with equal possession. McGregor had already made 1 save from a FK and the Buffs had been defending effectively but chaotically too - mistakes giving chances and last ditch tackles negating them. 4-1 but Buffs Mad was concerned that this might be one of those 'game of 2 halves'. He replaced AML/AMC Johnstome with AML/ML Henderson to give him options.
On 58 mins the home side swapped the DMC for an AMC and within 2 mins had pulled one back. Buffs Mad thought about the change and pulled back the wingers to midgield and went 4 at the back by taking off McCoist. But before the sub could be made the home side hit a 3rd with 16 mins left.
So all change it was, McGrain got on and McCoist off and Buffs defended and counterattacked in 4-1-4-1. It would've been less nervy had the home keeper not defied the laws of motion in reaching and tipping a Buffs FK over.
But it finished 4-3 and the Buffs leapt to the lofty heights of 7th; 6 points off the leader who they will meet the day after tomorrow.
Goals: Johnstone (9, 51), McCoist (13), Gemmill (20).

A return to form today for Rugby's Better after a tough weekend, especially in the League.
There was a solid 2-1 win in the CL (while the manager was in meetings for his day job - this moonlighting is seriously impacting the team's prospects) to go to the top of the group, though the team may drop back to 2nd once the day's other tie is played. 1 more win ought to be enough to guarantee progression, 2 should ensure topping the group.
And a late goal grabbed a 1-0 win in the League against the 3rd-ranked side, meaning RB have a 3-1-3 record, and will sit 7th or 8th in the league once the round finishes. The team has only managed 9 goals in 7 league matches which is definitely becoming a concern, and come mid-season a decision on tanking may need to be made.
Tomorrow RB takes a 3-2 lead into the away leg of the Cup, against a higher league team who's starting 11 is a star better on average. And the opposition has re-scheduled the match to 3.40am UK time! Later on we're away to the team in 2nd in the league, so a tough day in prospect.
Ma girls are 1st, 7 of 7 victories, 1st in CL group with 10 poits and with a 6-0 in the 3rd round Cup.
Port Vale FC too is 1st, 7 of 7, 37 GF 3 against, so +34.. 2nd in CL group with same points as the 1st, 9 points, I won this 30 minutes ago for 0-1 goal of De Azevedo... and in cup I've a victory for 2-1.
A great transfer for us
Chance to be placed in a higher level are less and less
Table
Before the formation of the league, I added a friend who bought tokens and now I'm with him in the league, and engulfed me such league where everyone buys tokens, except me, I've never bought a single token. I immediately pulled him from a friend , I have the weakest team in the league, but are still teaching. We're going to try to pull all the points and try to catch the 7 spot and a place in the next level.
CL Update:
After a 4:2 loss away in the 3rd group stage match, Ninjaa FC was looking for payback when playing the same team at home in the 4th match. The defense had been playing worse in 4-5-1 V, than my usual 3 defender formations, so Ninjaa FC came out in a 3-5-2 V this time, and here's the result:
The group standings now look like this:
Ninjaa FC faces the bottom team in the next CL match, and then the current top team in the last group stage match.
Last night I decided to sell a couple older players, one MC, one ST. I felt a little bad about it, because they performed decently when they played, and they were both still close to 5 stars. However, they kept getting injured constantly, and weren't getting any play time due to too much depth at those positions.
After selling those, I picked up two 19 year old Nordgens, one GK, one DC/DR which were exactly the positions I needed depth at. The team faces the current top team in the league in just over half an hour though, so I will likely not play them until tomorrow.
