League: Buffs FC win 2-0 at home in front of a full house (Prices up another 1 )
Not sure our early season Striker issue is solved but with both wingers bagging a goal each we're worry about it another day
The Buffs remain top on GD.

I know your feeling Buff. I have the same issue this season.
Started last season with a nordgen I bought. Excellent trainer but awful scorer. After tried everything, I waited this season but nothing changed so I sold him.
My main ST NEYMAR (four seasons won the golden shoe) also lost the touch with the nets and the third one LEONIDAS - well, he has good rates but he is mostly assist man, not the executioner I want. I bought another ST, BEBETO, nothing. Not bad rates but no goals.
I bought a scout/list player and he is the worst of all (too bad I gave the name of a great scorer, ZARDEL)
So, most of my goals are from MCs, AMs and then finally from my STs. At least they have more goals from my defenders
With my league I 'm ok but in CH.L. I can't see much future with that situation

Yeah I can remember your discussions about that ST.
I can live with my ST issue atm because its not like early season where I was winning by 1 then came a draw and 2 x 1 goal losses. At least now I can kid myself on that the midfielders are scoring before the STs get a sniff >.<
I'm more concerned that the Academy has thrown another 24T training flop - only saving grace is he is performing very well because he was not worth it in terms of MV and will not receive extra training. So he'll last as long as 'he' wants to.
Half-season squad report coming soon
AEPRE FC has defeated the 13th placed team Emio FC with the score of 8-0. Frederic Soumare scores a hat-trick in this game, while Bryan Andersson has taken a knock.
The first goal comes in 15' with Luis Espinoza's goal from long-range. Five minutes later after that goal, Bryan Andersson were fouled by Emio FC's defender, which he escaped without a card. The free-kick ended up defended by the defensive wall but deflected behind for the corner. Alfie Deyes takes the chance in no time as he crosses the ball to Frederic Soumare's head, where he headed the ball perfectly into the back of the net. Pavel Sochocki replaces Andersson immediately after that goal.
Oscar passes to Sochocki about 19 minutes after he was brought onto the pitch, before he makes it 3-0 with a very good shot, and it is the score for the half-time.
Kevin Sauss, the 19 years old Dutch youngster replaces Sochocki at 42', before he failed to convert the chance into the goal. But later in the 67', Sauss managed to streak passes through the defensive line of Emio FC, but he found Soumare to be the perfect position. Instead of shooting it himself to earn his debut goal for the club, he assists it for Soumare.
Antonio Scariti, Emio FC's 1 star MC, who has the natural position of attacking midfielder at left and centre, fouled an attacker, he only been reprimanded by the referee. Alfie Deyes scored the free-kick perfectly in the 75th minute passes through the wall. About a minute later, Oscar with a sucker-puncher long shot 25 metres away from the goal, ended up in the back of the net.
The final goal comes from Soumare in the 87th minute with a very great dribble, to complete his hat-trick.
Goalscorers Espinoza 15' Soumare 20' 67' 87' Sochocki 39' Oscar 68' 76' Deyes 75'
Man of the Match Soumare (9), Oscar also receives 9 rating.
The league leader Angus FC faces a tough challenge from a Thai-named team which reads "Chelsea FC", but however, Angus FC managed to escape with the 3 points and a 2-1 win. The pressure is on for both sides.

I know what you mean but.....He has been playing initially as sub and recently as starter - its not just his training rate, his MV looks really strange for what should be a higher value player and doesn't 'seem' to be increasing in a normal fashion either, but I'll keep him for the Season to see how he progresses and how MV increases from Q to Q. I've had a lot of Academy players and even had a team for 8 seasons that existed only on Academy players (never went near TM) and all I can say is this guy 'feels' weird. Don't know how to explain it yet.
But on training rate I decided to share 30 packs (God Bless the Saturday fb video frenzy ) between this 81Q player and my 89 & 90Q 22 yo (a Nordgen and an Academy player from another team) and he fractionally averaged better. Again, it just feels a bit weird. Had this before with another (coincidently) 24T player who was normal in 1st season then stopped progressing as expected by both value and training. (I'm starting to think I'll avoid 24Ts on my main and I'll put extra into lower Q >.< )
I'll keep an eye on things but he's getting no extra training unless things change either by 'motivation' by better luck or by other voodoo.
