Sully you totally missed the point. Motivation is a factor that deals with individual players.
Out of position has little to do with player form in one match, but have negative impact on his motivation for later games.

When you have players with fluctuating form it is caused by non-optimal player management.

Your answer is simple, how can you make your players form clean if you don't believe player performance could be manipulated? You will rely on luck because you don't know or never find out how to do it.

Feck, what did I start. >.< I only wanted to say that I wasted 24T on a player that wasn't worth it for either value or longevity (training). He played well but thats not the point. I didn't expect an 18T 4* player to be worth more than a player 5Q higher and I don't look to the Academy for performance but no development Sold his ass.

According to my understandings, 24T academy player usually appear near the end of season and are higher in average quality (close to middle 4*). As they appear near the season end, they are less attractive to me. If academy player appear at start of next season, he is usually higher in quality (probably high 3* in next season, i.e. slightly better than those mid 4* players appearing near end of previous season) but cost probably 12 tokens only.

I do not have too many experience on buying token academy players. I believe signing them is a gamble. They are likely fast in training but this is not guaranteed.

18T, trained his SA straight away and this includes 4 'tanking' seasons where he rarely played out of the 14 and a half seasons so far.
I don't think he's ever had a drop in form in all that time, consistently scoring around 8.25 average every season with at least a third of his games he is MOM

Very nice stats, looks to me like he has been powertrained at some point but nice nevertheless

I would like to stop this in my oppinion lame motivation talk. I play with my best eleven every time and their performance is about just as good as some of the other managers who cuddles and caress their players.



I see no reason to vaste time in rotation systems like IRL (motivation is a hoax)

Today up popped another 24T Academy player so I decided to see if they were as crap as the last 2 when it comes to training.

Immediate impression is......CRAP! MV is way lower than expected like the last one. Think I'm going to waste a lot of resources just to find out what my gut tells me..... its not worth it. But hey-ho.



Hopefully because of early Cup rounds and CL I can give him a decent amount of matches.

Even if I round up his averages so far on hard: 38/72/100 compared with 47/96/140 benchmark Academy recruit. He's training, at best like a 5*
(My 6* NordGem got 29/55/86 close to my 6* benchmark of 29/58/89

And the worst thing is not one of you has offered me a virtual cuddle for these horribly low MV recruits. >.<

By the way you have closed the discussion about 24 tokens only comming at end of season. It must be and seems totally random. But if he is no better than a 15-18 token then its just really lame
