    Update at my end.

First match of the day was the second leg of the Cup against a stronger team in Mehmet FC with the tie poised at 3-3 (I had 3 away goals), so all to play for both teams. As expected, his little chums gave them a helping hand.

    Bye bye!!

    Season 65-screenshot_2015-04-22-12-33-31.jpg

A great victory for the Rovers and we proceed to the semi finals with a strong chance of winning the Cup twice in succession.

The reserves plus Lubo, Del Portillo and Chikin (Lubo and Del Portillo were banned for the Cup game and Chikin didn't play due to the formation used) played the league game against RC Deportivo. In the end, a good 4-0 victory with Chikin getting a hat trick.

and then there were four ...
I don't know how this happened in the Cup. I finished last season with 14 6* players and now I 'm playing in the semi final
The other 3 teams are 1 lv above (12) and have teams with 6* players and few 7*, my team has 6* players, so everything is possible

Champions League: Bali United ZAFT has managed themselves a slender yet important advantage over their opponents, Germany's MrDheitoRVL FC, in the Champions League quarter finals. Playing away, my boys managed to score a shocking 2-3 victory against the resilient hosts. Shocking considering my rather inconsistent form lately and my opponent has an almost flawless run of games in the same time period. Le Huu "Largo" Hoang Anh scored twice in three minutes to make it 2-0, before Mesyam Mansourabadi pulled one back in the 34th minute. Hyung-Seok Kim almost made me suffer a heart attack with his blistering equalizer, but Onjira Uttaponkarndee sealed the winner with a late header. Feeling really confident heading into the 2nd leg at home!!

Next up is a league match against Ercan FC at Denpasar. One of the more stronger teams in the league, we beat the Turks 2-1 at their own backyard, but somehow over time the manager decided to do this with his team...

CL: Buffs FC slip with a 1-0 loss away in the Quarter Final first leg.

Although the Buffs tried to keep the ball the home side exerted more of the threat - and probably deserved the win.

Note: After making coffee, and on the way to my PC, the game flashed up on my mobile so I logged in before kickoff and was in the process of switching to PC when the game started. Once logged on I saw that I had an injury in 2 mins and Otto Teem had replaced him.

Yet another minimum rest time for the Buffs as they play 2nd in the league.

    Steady the Buffs!

EDIT: That injury keeps the run going - 6 in 6 days after having been left alone for so long.

    League round 17
We defeated Blewh Fc 2-0 away and claim 1st place the 1st times after 13 rounds. but it isn't the end yet.
Blewh has nothing to worried about, but we have to face #3 # 4
we can only drop 2 pt at max.

I could not actively attend matches, monitor performances, change starting line up, arrange training, sending gifts to friends, etc. for several days in last week. Both my teams very badly performed during this period.

After this period, my teams' performances slightly improved。 At least they can win or draw some matches. But I feel difficult to identify some consistent performers among the bad form players and rebuild a core starting lineup. Besides, T11 friends who support me in matches also obviously decrease.

My L21 Team gradually resumed normal performance, but it needs to perform even better to climb to top 7 or top 4. In CL, it has good chance to reach top 4.

My L13 Team is still very inconsistent. But its league is even closer. Except champion or worse team, anything is still possible.
    Season 65-table-beauty-d19.jpg

From season beginning, I noticed that the 2 leagues that my teams involved have many similar and quite high quality teams, and expected that this will be a difficult but interesting season. After more than half season, I further noticed that there are more than 10 very active teams in each of these leagues. Comparing with my teams, many teams are lower in average quality, but have a stronger starting line up (My L21 team is full of 5* and my L13 team have about half of the starters just reaching 6*)

I still feel it is interesting, but even more difficult than I expected.

League: The Buffs, as they often do, hold their nerve in the crunch league tie to beat second 3-1. Just need to get rid of theses stupid draws.

Second, the old third, now move to third and third, the old second, become the new second, 2 pts behing us - who were the old first, the new first and remain just first.

Unfortunately right winger Willie Henderson has now picked up his umpteenth injury (think its 8 in competitive matches but I must check) in his 164 games for the Club. His injury prone quality was sustainable while we had light injury seasons but now we've had 7 injuries in 6 days its likely he'll be moved on after this season - whether he maintains/increases his season average rating of 7.68 or not.

Oops, what happened was Henderson scored from range, Harper nodded in a Robertson cross, opponents' stroke home a penalty to reduce the decifict then Harper converted a late penalty to seal the deal. Opposition manager made 2 formation changes but Buffs Mad seemed content with 451v until the 3 Striker came on and shut things down with a defensive 4141. Job Done.

    Here's the Stats

PS. There have been quite a few penalties in recent matches O.o

League: A fine display was shown by the boys of Bali United ZAFT as we smashed Turkey's Ercan FC six goals to nil at Denpasar earlier today. The opponent manager's decision to abandon his team (presumably for tanking purposes) left me with the ability to experiment with a few flank-based formations - starting off as an attacking 4-4-2 before switching to 4-3w-3 along the way. Passing are focused towards the flanks, with both ML and MR getting red arrows, and the DR-DL getting alternated between reds and blues. Tran Ngo "Chan" Thuy Trang starts as the initial ML of the game, before being replaced at HT by Lennon Takeo in order to boost the team's overall firepower. A substitution that paid off as Takeo bounces back from all the criticism that he and Chan got after their disappointing display in the defeats to Imron FC and Dortmund as well as the Dream Team draw - by scoring a brace and bagging the Man of the Match award. Captain Lee Noriega recovers from a goal drought to score the team's second goal, while Le Huu "Largo" Hoang Anh continues his superb form lately by scoring the opener. Aila Jyrkiäinen passes off an opportunity to end his own drought by assisting Karin Kikuhara's 9th league goal as well as the team's third, while a rare teamwork between defenders Shizuha Doi and Nguyen "Two" Phuc Khanh Linh enables the latter to add to the rout before Takeo bags his brace.

    Season 65-untitled.jpg

An away match to another abandoned team awaits, this time we travel to Bucharest to take on Maria Violeta FC. Gonna experiment once again by testing out a 4-2-2-2 Hexagon for tomorrow's match.
