Yeah, we could argue that some of the 'strange' lowbie players in crap teams getting high ratings demonstrates how ratings work. Ratings reflect personal performances - a GK in a crap team will get more opportunity to prove his ability and for example a good gk in a crap team suffering heavy defeats can get high ratings. Similarly a crap GK in a crap team will be cruelly exposed.

GoodGK quote "I might have lost 7 goals but none of them were my fault and it would've be 12 if not for me."
BadGK quote "I might be crap but nobody would notice if I was playing behind a much better defence/team."

The best thing about the new rankings criteria is it will expose the ones getting the better ratings consistently - giving you more ammunition to say "Ah, now I see ratings are reliable" or "this exposes how unreliable ratings are".

On my alt team there are both good and bad rating GKs in the bottom 6 teams including true GKs and those STs etc masquerading.
