CH.L. maybe is the most difficult competition, I mean playing with many (in %) good q teams but still you can observe some players with better stats in CH.L. than the league or an (easy) Cup.

I don't know if is a fact or myth but i also have this "superstition",if a player perform better in competition he will play more in that competition even if he's not the top player in that position.I have few example of players who are doing better in one competition,some in 2 competitions
Inzaghi help me last seson to win the cup ,he scored in almost all the games playing with better opponents
Zlatan likes Champions league
Pirlo is doing good in all 3 competitions
Ruud is my best league player
Dida is brilliant in cl and cup but he disappointed me in the league and tonight he scored a 6 in the league after he was man of the match in the cup earlier,so it was his last league game

At least in my experience (and I am only up to LV 9, mind you) the group in CL usually has two weak teams that allows my players to run up the stats. Once we are out of the group (I have never not won group yet), it may be one more easy round (playing the 2nd place group qualifier). After that, either more glorious wins, or a painful loss. Either way, the stats in CL look great, much better than in the League that drags own and tends to seesaw up and down.

Aside from Cup and CL matches having different scoring patterns from league matches, and therefore their stats being largely negligible, I think (though of course cannot prove) it's a MYTH that some players are better suited for some competitions than others.

a Myth saying that the manager who 's changing the time of a game, gonna loose it.
My opponent (a Dutch - me, from Greece, original game time, late evening ), changed the time to 3.30

the CL and Cup starts very often with some very weak opponents, this alone would make the stats uneven.

I 'm not saying that a player can have good performance only in one competition. It can be League + CH.L. or Cup

even if it's an easy game and you have a domination, still you can see one player scoring half of the goals of the team while others scoring only one goal.
