Another nervy 2nd half, Gk with a huge save off a FK in the 85th preserved the 3 points.


I had hard tackling on half the game, still only 12 tackles? My bravery average is quite low on my defenders compared to their other stats, that's likely it. i want to share my table but waiting for next fixture so I can do a proper midseason report.

Out of cup, which was to be expected. Lost 2-0, 5-0 agg. Started with 4-3N-2W-1 against 4-5-1V, changed to 3W-3N-2W-2 and hard attack after the first goal, but to no avail.

The match itself wasn't too bad, equal posession and more shots on target. He just had the better team.

After many seasons I had two defeat in the same day, that was a big black cat, I'm still trying to understand what went wrong with my team form. Tomorrow hope will be a normal day

Moving on to the next round of the cup! 2-1 win on home leg and then held on to a 0-1 win on away leg. Opponent was 2 levels above me and better quality. I'm not so optimistic about the next round. Opponent is 3 levels above me and significantly higher quality.

Atlético Kolkata Day 13 & 14 Report

Tho we had confirmed next round entry after Matchday 4 we had to win the last match against the first place (by any margin) to finish 1st. The boys scored 7 times (tho just 4 of them found the net) while conceding none. The day was surely for David, who didn't score in his first 2 CL games, but in the last game (this one), he scored 4. One from penalty, one from a corner by Baert, and 2 from freekicks. He even assisted once. He completed his hattrick in just 11 minutes. Other scorers were Bircan (John), Garayar (Jorge) and Reyes (David). Reyes does not get a lot of starts, but comes as a sub. He is a great attacking spearhead from the back. Easily the MOM is David. The standings: The first time in 6 attempts we top the CL group.

The Cup was also pretty good, a 3-0 victory at home to progress 5-0 agg. As usual David scored from a DFK in 16' and 5' before the break, John passed a through ball for Bircan to hit it at the target, something veery similar to the CL game. Then on 60' we got a FK from a tight angle. The FK specialist logo wasn't shown on David, indicating he won't score directly. A goal was scored though, he chipped the ball to Garayar as he waited for the right time and scored the third of the game. In the 75', Moreau even saved a penalty. The rash foul by Kroos indicated that he'll be benched for a few days as Reyes will take over the left back on Sunday. The MOM was Garayar for a good defensive play as MC; he performs well with the blue arrow. The Cup dream is alive; it was our first ever trophy from Level 4.

In the league, on Day 13 we faced a team with no players in the oppo's half at home. They were crunched 9-0. We gave the reserves a chance to play, and we played a 4-3-1-2 instead of the 4-3-2-1, since John and Bircan were rested. You'd be surprised to see who netted the hat trick:MOM was Reyes. And on Day 14, a 6-0 loss away; played illegal.
Tomorrow's Atlético Kolkata vs Spartak FC. The rivalry renews.

here's my feeder club that the wife won't let me play anymore, it's a shame really, made it to a cl final without attending a single match or training the season after i got locked out of it . Haven't touched it in two seasons even though I have prime players from Dragonflight to transfer over. maybe if i let her name all the players after kitties or ponies she'll let me on her fbook lol.

I have against principles bought an academy player for 21 tokens, the reason is that at level 40 there are no new generated players and my squad is turning old (past 22 years)

After half season both of my teams are doing good. Winning Eleven will not have an easy league, but that's not even my main target as I still aim for the cup and go as far as I can in the CL.
World United was born as my deformed child, but I'm growing fond of it. First and unbeaten in the league and up and running in all competitions.
