The new Champions league draw system

I don't think so - at list not the main reason.
This story was old and at that time I dropped quality for the (old) Cup (8 +6 1* players).
I played with 5* teams in the cup, from lower levels but still in a +1 lv in CH.L.

I don't know how it was in your case,but this season draw it proves to me that quality is the big factor(i am talking about me and my teams)
Panathinaikos -14th place in league last season
-no quality drop(123% 1st day of the season)
-no champions league last season
AC Milan-1st in league last season
-won champions league last season
-drop quality to 80%
I played only once in a +1 lvl champions league and it was when I didn't dropped quality

I don't agree about quality and I 'll give you an example.
let's see my team ManU which is in low levels (because someone can say for NIK at lv30, there aren't enough teams, always happened in higher levels, blah-blah)

Season 7, lv5 ManU won the league, won the (same lv) CH.L. but lost the Cup (playing in a higher lv as I didn't drop quality).
Next season, I dropped the q to for the Cup too and the treble so my Cup draw was only a +1 lv on papers (in reality it means 4*-5* teams max).
But my CH.L. was a +1 lv , vs teams which placed in 2-4th position.


That was my team the last day of the season, 8 6* players and 6 1* players.


So the first day of the new season, my avg was 2-3* and 34 q


But I placed in a CH.L. with teams with 45-50 q



I got of course some new players to enforce my team, won my fist oppo from a higher lv but those teams got many 6*-7* players (for my lv) so I finished 3rd.
At that time there wasn't the NIVEA league yet.

I won the league last season and again i'm in a CL group with teams from 1 level higher. The teams in my group are the same quality, but when they start buying players they will be stronger. I've checked the other teams and they are all from +1 level, even in the super league. Some teams are already 7 stars average (i'm 6 stars average). CL is over, no chance to win this season.

This is just bull**** and not fair. If they don't fix this this means i'm never gonna win the CL again.

Top Eleven was so much better 5 years ago, with the old cup and CL drawing system.

I sold 5 players yesterday and was left with 8 six star players in a 15 players squad.

Now, I won the CL last season but I was put again in a same level Champions League which was surprising to me because last time I won the CL I was put in a +1 level competition.
However what surprised me even more was that I was also placed in a same level Cup with one team being level 6 (1 lower than me).

Again i will refer to my teams and I'm not saying that I'm right and you wrong,Nik,but we have this "official answer"about champions league draw

AC Milan should have played only in +1 champions league based on what their results in this competition but because before the draw my quality goes down significantly they put me in a same lvl ch l,or -1 lvl as i am this season,because as it says on the last line "the current strength should be on a par between all managers in the champions league "

I've had higher level managers in my Champions League Draws every season but two in the last year. It's a little annoying, but I haven't found it to be a daunting task since I've usually won the +1 level Champions League. What got stated in the official statement, is what I've encountered, in that the elite managers of the +1 level haven't been drawn into the same Champions League as me when I've been pulled up 1 level. Highest I've seen is a 130%, but he didn't get out of his CL group.
