The new Champions league draw system

now i see the CL draw is ....all LV15 league winner + around 6 team from LV17 2nd to 4th place in LV16.....

Hm, checked all CL teams for my HFF account. Roughly 1 team above 70% (like 70,7), 3 other teams in range 60-70%, 5 other teams in range 50-60%. HFF is at 103%. I am not one to complain, but a bit weak huh? Of 32 teams, nobody basically seem to be active. HFF finished 2nd in league and CL last year and won the Cup.

Yeah my CL draw is weak too.

Also as I was searching the games and the levels, I found the craziest draw could be

2 teams 18 lv, one 16lv and one 21lv (the levels are the original and you can see also their team quality).
Cup draw looks reasonable comparing to that - lol

Thank you for your participation and feedback.
I made a research in the games/schedule of my (game) friends today.
Unfortunately I can see that this issue continues that season too.
About 25 of my friends are playing in groups with teams from above or bellow level (depending if the won their league or not).
Only a couple of cases I found, that the draw favor them - but this could maybe affected by another friend which they are playing together.

That's not as bad as what Nordeus has 'rewarded' me with for spending tokens on my team to have 6 star players in all positions. This is my Champions League draw for this season. My Cup draw was the same and to say I am extremely angry with this stupidity would be an understatement. I demand an explanation from Nordeus.

Mini update
Last season I lost on purpose the league 1st position as I saw that winning the league is very possible to play in the next CH.L. vs opponents +1 level.
It happened to me and many friends.


Indeed this season the winner of the League Freja, played in a +1LV CH.L. and disqualified.




So far, I 'm playing in semi finals with teams of 5*-6* players.
The treble is on the table

Update again.
NIK won the treble (my 8th) so the strategy to loose the championship so to play in a same level CH.L. worked and it was worthy.
This season (lv25), even if I won the league, I play also in an equal lv CH.L. competition


My other team, RINOKEROS (lv12) , also won the league, started this new season with a 6* team and playing in an impossible Cup.
Playing again in a CH.L. +1 level, also seems impossible.
So, from the beginning of the season, we have only hopes for the league title.

Last season, I had +1 levels in the same champions league.

This season, all managers are the same level.

Going back several seasons.

+1 levels (levels 22, 24, 25, 26 and 27).

all same level (levels 23 and 28)

No higher levels prior to level 22.

I tanked levels 22 and 26

1st place in league (levels 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27).
