Something that I noticed as new in this game is two red cards at the same minute in the same match. Those were not for matches I played; one was posted here on the forum by a forum member, and the other, I saw it in the game itself).

Yesterday I missed out on my league game. I was hoping to score some points for the supersubs but didn't have time to attend. My tactic is just to switch out my AML/AMR/STR just before the game and in the game I substitute instantly. Couldn't do it with this game.
I check the score afterwards and I won 10-0!!!!! 7 goals in total by AML/AMR/STR. Crap :) Good thing I am still leading with 2 points.
League
https://s24.postimg.org/szzb90wb9/League_D23.jpg
My team is currently 2nd. In the first week, my team was more like 4th (or around). Later, it climbed up to 3rd, and then even got to 1st early in second week after beating Chiba 1-0 (away) and doing a 0-0 versus Cristi FC (away) in the space of around two days with a relatively hard Champions League match in-between the two matches. A 1-1 draw versus PapaCatalin on the last day of the second week allowed Cristi FC to go back to 1st.
2 draws versus the current 1st
1 draw versus current 5th (one of those games that seems you won't win)
1 loss versus current 6th (by a large score too given that the game put a GK to play as DMC from the start of the match itself - a match that I did not attend and did not even check the line-up)
So, it looks like Cristi FC will be champions unless this team loses at least 2 points, provided that my team does not lose any points. So far, no unexpected loss or draw for Cristi FC; 2 draws against me and a loss against the current 3rd.
My team also had unfair situations in terms of goal difference too; for instance, Cristi FC played against a team that had GK as outfield and won 9-0 while I played against that same team and got only 3-0 given that there was no GK as outfield player when I played versus it. That large loss due to the game putting a GK as DMC when I was absent is significant too.
Chiba is active too, and even in the mini competition. Lots of subs done in matches and it is leading by 2 points. 2nd is my team, and 3rd is Cristi FC. I am not putting in too much effort or concentrating on that mini competition; I will allow Chiba to win. Given the risks the manager took, making all those substitutions (even in one match against Cristi FC), it is fair in some way. But Chiba could have won or got a draw versus Cristi FC, had it stick with the best players and the usual formation instead of going for that mini-competition, and hence, my team would have gone to 1st position. As you can see, Chiba's form is D,W,L,L,W - matches where it lost points probably because it concentrated on the mini-competition by starting matches with a different formation from what it used before and also changing players during the game.
Champions League
Semi-final with 1 foot in the final after a 4-0 at home.
Cup
After having got a bad day (as said by A.M) at the home for the quarter final - losing 2-0, my team won 4-0 in the away leg, but then my team got knocked-out by goal difference at the semi-final stage of the competition 3-2 (home), another bad day as said by A.M, and 1-2 (away). So, 2 bad days in the Cup competition and the team ended with a bronze plate.

Chiba wins.
My team comes out second as was the case with the first mini-competition.
This season for Ultimate FC has been very good, especially considering that the manager had been on an "absence" for the first half of the season
League: Team was 4th halfway through, now seem set to likely secure 3rd, identical to the team's debut last season
Cup: Worst performance, this season, arrived to find the team had fell in the Round of 16
CL: Absolutely Incredible!!! 16-1 in the first two knockouts and up after a 5-1 at home in the semi finals
The Ulimate Supporters wish well to the team on the trip to Saudi Arabia for the second leg.
Congrats to the Ukrainian team in my league, 21-0-0 is incredible.
Season progress report.
Both teams sitting pretty at the top of their respective Leagues:

...and both with a lead over their opponents in their Champions League Semi-Finals. Christian Okunorobo scored a penalty in the 17th minute to give Home Guard a one goal advantage over their +10% opponents in the home 1st leg; and Desert Rats visited their -9% opponents and won 3-1.
First trophy is in:

but maybe, somebody of you are able to explain, what's going on with the shot to SoT-ratio?

One for the 'what the hell is the Match Engine doing' saga. Desert Rats playing away to abandoned bottom of the table team. Earlier in the season at home, playing ND vs opponents' 3N-2DMW-3N-2 formation, barely managed a 3-0 win, where other top teams had been getting 6 or 7.
Today, away, playing against same formation, Rats were playing ND again, and usually I would have set normal/counter/mixed pass/thru' middle, but for some reason didn't check orders before the match. After the match, discovered that orders were defensive/counter/long pass/use flanks...
Attachment 83691
Now to the big match of the day, Desert Rats were in a Cup Final after missing out last season, and were up against a +2%Q side that had succumbed to the Rats over two legs in the Champions League Round of 16. Eros Martorelli was the hero with two goals in normal time, which ended 2-2. The Management then checked to see if the opposing manager had made all his substitutions (he had) and then changed from ND to 3N-5-2-V, replacing the DR with an AML and moving the AMC to AMR. The aforementioned AML, Stefan Vucomanovic, then buried a free-kick late into the first half of extra time to win the Final for Desert Rats. Thanks to all who supported (present or not).

Most Painful Cup finals Loss... He was stronger, yet favoured and was absent. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bef98b2705.jpg..he is gonna win the league too. [emoji30]
After a poor performance in our first leg CL semi winning 3-2 at home i gave them that treatment. The effect is great.π Anyway the match is being investigate of match fixing.

https://s23.postimg.org/d74p2ttt7/E._Louis_DC.jpg
E. Louis is a token academy player (signed this season). There was no plan of selling him through negotiations, but got two offers as he has reached the 79% mark. The plan was to keep him this season and sell him if required next season for funding new transfers, especially given that the team has only 2 main DCs and 1 DMC/DC, and the manager does not fancy to buy any player from the transfer market at this point of the season. One of the main DCs is also an 'old' one that is on plan to be sold at the end of the season. This will leave the club with only one DC and one DMC/DC at the start of next season. Also, the crazy bidding is still going in the market. With a Champions League final 'in view' and the race for 1st place in the league still open, selling him would be risky. Taking into consideration the two 8 ratings he got, it seems that he has the potential to become a good player, but he would require around at least 90 green packs next season (training a low 4-star player to a high 5-star player is something that the club cannot afford as such, especially a player with one position only).
Almost lost cup final to a guy 20% worse than me. I even had way superior tactics to his bot 4-3-3. Dear god this game sometimes.
Shockingly made the CL final after a 3-0 first leg home loss Vs a superior opposition. Didn't even bother attending attending the game 'cause I imagined a comeback virtually impossible. Logged in only minutes ago and .. WHAT???
Attachment 83730Attachment 83731
Managed to get to the finals. All higher level opponents. Any suggestion against his formation? I think midfield dominance will do the trick.
What a day...
we won against our chinese rival at league 1:2 -> league should be done, 6 points ahead.
At CL, we are at finals. But... todays 2.leg was incredible weird: After 26min, we were down 2:0, SoT were 2:3... -.- Meiringer made 2:1, so 2:4 on aggregate to us... but that stats were again weird... we had a lot more shots, but not on the target.
Stats are there - click me.
This game also proves, key attributes don't matter: It was the weakest opponent in this case: a lot of player with gray attributes +90%, keyattributes ~150%, while mine are more than 230%, some near 400%.
I'm happy, when this season is over... one of the worst seasons for a long time.
I know, it sounds creepy, because we play for the triple, but:
-) less goals scored since 10 seasons -> we scored a lot more goals in seasons, where we were kicked out early of the cup. :(
-) at the moment, most goals conceeded since 6 season, in worst case it raises to most goals conceeded ever
-) Teguia (my keeper)... had a lot a great clean sheet streaks last few seasons, this season his best was 3...
--) in other words: it's the worst season for Teguia, because the last time, we conceeded so many goals was before he joined the team
-) Costa underperforms a lot - he has his worst overall-rating ever, his 2. worst rating a league - the worst rating was at season 7, his 2. season (at his age of 19) - where we played in a league of (RL-)friends
-) Meiringer was last season a great scorer, this season he plays a lot of <6,5 ratings
-) My new MC is a piece of... 12 games, 2 yellow cards and an average rating of 6,2
-) and that's not because of the opponents themself... but otherwise at lot of bots: at my league, this season are only 2 other really active managers + 3 active manager (but the didn't watch a single game)
I know... a lot of qq, but there's no feedback in the game, what's wrong this season. There's no feedback, why my team had a lot of shots, but only a few SoT. There's no feedback, what's wrong with Costa/Teguia, and so on.
AEPRE FC in for the Champions League final against Nara United
AEPRE FC expected to face Sang FC, a full scout team, in the Champions League final, but they lost 5-3 at home to Nara United, after being 3-0 up in the first eighteen minute. The red card for one of Sang FC players has really changed the match, and send United into the final with an away goal advantage from the aggregate of 7-7. Same also goes to our semi-final against City FC, after being 1-0 down first leg and the early red card for one of their attacker Ivo Vonck, and the penalty was scored. AEPRE FC won the second leg 3-0 after goals from Kevin Lamy, Sergio Morales and Jaroslav Pecka.

As a player that has played this game at different periods in those past two years (2015-2017), let me tell you the following.
This game looks more or less the same - same negatives - lack of football sense, poor simulations, lack of control and so on (except during a 'special' period where attending every match counted, where the changes made in the game including orders and activation of bonuses had instant noticeable effects). I am not saying that there is no chance that there have been adjustments or significant changes that has caused what you experienced or noticed; there could have been too. What I have noticed this season is that some teams (especially what looks like abandoned teams) have played at an unexpected level, but some things were there from before itself. It is clear that in some matches, the game does what it wants no matter what you do during those matches. Also, for many matches it seems that more or less many things have been pre-determined before those matches were shown to be played. In some matches, the effects due to changes did not 'reflect' those changes in terms of logic, while in some other matches the effect seems more logical. In other matches, there is no effect at all. Either there are malfunctions in this game or those are intended to be like that for whatever reasons. There are also those non-logical orders that gives good results but logical orders not (for example, check the post of talisman in this thread).
Things in this game seems to be going through cycles. What may have happened in your case and in the cases of others that have been complaining here and there is that the game decided that your team will have more chance to have certain bad things this season than compared to before. In other words, nothing as such may have changed in this game, but the situation for your team has changed. Another thing that could have happened is that there were hidden changes, but the those changes affected some people more because of the way they play in this game or what they used to see or have.
All that being said, in my opinion, there are many things that needs improvement in this game. Many things are cosmetic or have relatively insignificant effects or have unexpected effects. The amount of control the manager has in terms of style of play, preparation, tactics, influence on players and so on is too low; more control is required. There is also a lack of football sense in some areas of the game. But, there are probably worst online football manager simulation games.
Success on all fronts today...
Desert Rats FC played 13th in the table at home, and gave them a good hiding, in the process accumulating enough points advantage to claim their 7th League Championship with three matches to play. Stefan Vucomanovic, Patrick Tillmanns (2), Charlie Howell (2) and Felix Gensler were on target in the 6-0 scoreline.
Attachment 83742
The two teams played almost simultaneously this evening in the Champions League Semi-Final 2nd Leg, Home Guard FC having a kick-off 6 real-time minutes before their Senior team. Defending a 1-0 home score in the 1st Leg against a +9%Q side, they shocked their hosts with a counter-attack goal in the 31st minute through Esteban Alderete, then 2 minutes later repeated the trick, Christian Okunorobo finishing off a Fabio Cicia cross. The home side pulled a goal back two minutes afterwards, and then turned on their attack after the break. The Home Guard defence held firm, being breached twice as the home side went ahead 3-2, and levelling the aggregate 3-3, but they still had work to do to counter the visitors' away goals. A last 10 minute onslaught was bravely resisted and Home Guard ended beaten on the day, but with a Final berth. They won't know their opponents until about 1.15am BST when the other Semi-Final is due to finish.
Attachment 83746
Desert Rats had a 3-1 away 1st Leg lead to protect, and that was all they could do as the visitors in the 2nd Leg pulled out all the stops to try and overturn that deficit. Sebastian Nielsen and Eros Martorelli scored the goals in a 2-2 draw, and the Rats have a final place 5-3 on aggregate.

13th consecutive champions league final against the same guy I beat in the cup final.
This time he will have all his players eligible to play,so I'm expecting a much tougher match
I have +8%quality but he has 1 lvl over me so any of us can win the trophy.

2 Tokens + 116M offered for an 18 y.o DC (79%) signed from academy for tokens
But, I am still in the same situation as described before; my team only has 2 other DCs and 1 DMC/DC.
Haha... same here: I'm 8% stronger against a +1L
The funny fact: me opponent lost 1. and 2. game of his group, stayed only with 2. place, because of +1 away goal. At K.O. games, he made only one draw (2.leg Semi finals).
If keyattributes matters in any case, he aren't allowed to win, he has lot 19-22 y.o. with really high gray skills/low keyattributes. Want to guess the result?
I hope, you're right... but look at my league game today. What shall I do against that efficiency?
That are the moments, I really "love" this game:
Attachment 83772
highly inactive team, 33% weaker,... and his keeper saved the much against Costa, Meiringer, da Silva,...
And my 143% keeper couldn't save the only SoT...

Home Guard FC played their League match of the day this evening against 3rd place in the table, and won 4-0. Ellis Wardell, Fabio Cicia, Brice Morel and Christian Okuorobo scored, and Home Guard finished the day 8 points clear of the chasing pack, and with only two matches left to play, have claimed their 3rd League Championship.
Attachment 83785Attachment 83786
Almost as an afterthought, Desert Rats FC kicked-off an hour later as Champions Elect in their League match against 12th place. Two goals up in the first 10 minutes through reserve DMC Madalin Vlasiu and striker Charlie Howell, it wasn't until the Management decided to shake things up after 10 minutes of the second half that the goals flowed again. Patrick Tillmanns took only 5 minutes to settle in, diving in to head in a corner from Hadi Pakizeh, and the second substitute, recent Youth scheme graduate Gavin Burley, was given 20 minutes or so to to show his promise, and he converted an Eric Yeste corner from the other flank with 5 minutes left to make the final score 4-0.
With a Champions League Final in the offing tomorrow, the last thing the Rats needed was an injury to first-choice DMC Mohamed Lotfy, so it came to pass that the fickle finger of fate pointed to said player five minutes from time. The Management will be hoping that the magic sponge works overtime overnight to get him ready for the match which will decide whether Desert Rats achieve another treble...
I feel your pain...

Hurrrraaa, Season 93 is big success for my main club: ibangali FC
June 22, 2016 start to playing this top11 game, spent most of my time and effort for my main club but never got triple crown, todays CL final win make my main club to have first triple crown (although last season one of my AC club received first triple crown). Today also received first 'old school' achievement :)
League now 24-0-0, in 24 matches 158 goal and concied one.
Attachment 83805
Edit:
Surprised, surprised :)
My second AC club (ibangali AC) also going to have triple crown. I thought this club not going to win CL, as opp were 8% stronger and I was doing a experiment with this club. This season I set the team with 4-1-4-1 formation and never change it; only do 10% bonus training; use moral boost (blue) when club is on cup Q. final. :)

https://s4.postimg.org/676u5ceyl/C.L.F.A.M.R.jpg
Disappointment today as my team lost the Champions League on penalties 2:4 (0-0 after extra-time) against a weaker team (121.1 vs. 115.5).
I did the preparation: scouted the opponent, worked out on tactics, put win bonus on maximum, set a decent counter formation and orders, did the training and so on. I attended the match and also made some changes. Opposing manager did not attend.
Formation, orders and arrows were good enough to beat such a team, and with the clear advantage of quality, that should have been a win. Given the amount of unexpected results reported on the forum, I went for the safe way (setting things up in a way not to concede any goal), but also with a decent chance of scoring at least one goal.
The order of the penalty shooters did not go according to the list assigned during the 30s thing. Instead, it went according to what was set before the match (first two takers given that there were 3 assigned but 1 player was substituted during the match), and the rest were chosen by the game itself.
Many other managers would be fuming over such a result if that happened to them, but I will take it as is despite that I think that it is unfair. I will take a decision at the end of this season whether I should take a break or continue to play this game for another season or quit this game for good. For me, the main problem is still the same as before in this game - it is not about winning or losing, but how you win or lose.
