I would sugegst you to open a thread with your team stats. I would like to see how MoM you have, goals and assistances. The thing is simple, or works or not, it doesnt matter because all formations can win the treble with the right players. and orders are not related with the oppo options.

You have a team with 120% quality for example.
Your attackers have white skills (the attacking) 140% and grey 80%.
Your oppo has 100% q team but his attackers have 240% white and 1% grey.
Easily he 'll win.

You'd think that this is exactly what is defined by "morale".

In Top Eleven universe, this is what they (Nordeus) call "a mystery". If things become too predictable, you will lose interest. But surprises like that is what keeps you in the game. Now, after this, you will double your efforts, won't you. That's the whole point.

I said in the beginning that asso games are not included as there isn't much logic there but that game was also like @ Aku Papua

This team of my asso group had a tough draw but the GK trolled him for good
