As part of a general upgrade to the attacking midfield force, and in the absence of any other requirements elsewhere, the Management felt entitled to invest some of the accumulated Tokens in a Quality player from the Scout list, rather than the standard issue seen in the normal Transfer Market. The new recruit was immediately thrown into the fray of a Champions League match, and took only 7 minutes to register a goal. Later on in the second half, he also proved handy from 12-yards as his brace made the difference in a 2-0 win.
Barbosa dos Santos was also first on the scoresheet in the evening away League match, left-wingback Marlon Kelly and central midfielder Emilio Lopez adding the others as Home Guard maintained their 100% record with a 3-1 win.
