340% limit isn't solving problem.
How should it be done?
Simple, have back (from old version) limit beetwen defence attribute, attack attributes, pm attributes. Why? Becuse of reality. If tackling is 1% (could be even -100%) than shooting shouldn't be 340%. I don't remeber how much limit was back than, but I remember that I couldn't train only some attributes because of that limit.

Saying that , you should take in consideration that between the twice TE version , there is high change like the new system calculate in % not in quality points , and the last but not the least , in old version it was caped 20 points max between two GROUPS of skills , and now we can improve single skills we want , in the past not the points gone in the group you've choiced but it was lotery then
And for me having a ST with 300% shoot and 1 % tackling sounds good and logic , isn't it ?
And those mutant players proved to us that those individual attributes are not even important (shooting...), just train whatever 2. All we saw with new updates are graphical improvements (mostly). Bonuses and assotiation were good improvements, I must say that. New version could be better, we want always better...

That's what I mentioned above, mutants also proved that Nordeus mock people with cosmetic attributes, so they should be removed if they won't develop an engine that attributes do certain things.
