Got a 5 star 80 rated ST for the first time from the youth academy. I signed him, he has time to grow and a lot of people have said their youth players have turned out surprisingly good. I also got a MR/AMR earlier this seasons so next season I'm set for a fresh beginning. Never thought staying level would be fun, special abilities are almost done of some players with minimal spending and just a little bit of planning.

how many Tokens did you have to pay for him? My (token) youth academy player is waiting to be signed because I have to clear a slot and he also has 80% quality (ML-position; mreh). Have to pay 14 tokens for him but will do it nevertheless because I can always sell him. I'm just curious.

Yes it was the 14T one. I usually ignore youth players and only sing to sell the free one, but this time I decided to give them a try since I'm staying level and there is no rush for him to grow. If you don't need him in your team then paying 14 T just to sell him is a lot, but if you are staying level like me or you want to power train him then maybe try him as a reserve for some time. I just wanted to see if it was true that youth academy players end up being really good, sadly I can only give my report about their performance next season.
