End of week 3 update

League

In one of the most exciting seasons the team has experienced, we find ourselves holding on to the top spot ahead only by 3 points and losing out big time on goal difference. Week 3 saw our closest competitor and best all round team on paper draw 3 matches including an intense match against our very own underdog team. They continued to draw again against a bottom 3 team which allowed us to finally take the top spot. And another draw again today with the 3rd best team in the league.

EastsiderSG has been on a winning streak ever since the draw with the titan and is intent on causing an upset if possible. They are aware they cannot afford any mistakes going into the final 6 days as a loss would likely mean they would drop to 2nd. Scouting all opponents in the final gameweek, we see 2 matches of concern whuch have the potential to end our title run. When asked to comment, the manager of EastsiderSG conmented 'We have invested alot of time in our training and tactical strategies, enough to be competitive in every match we play'. You can be sure he will be attending every match to give his players that psychological edge.


Super League

Being the favourites brings about expectations and pressure. The team has handled it very well this week by eliminating their strongest opponent in this competition. They will be expected to breeze through the semis being almost 20 percent stronger on paper. It is however important to point out that EastsiderSG was eliminated from the cup against an opponent of similar quality and anything can happen.
