I was just going through Desert Rats' Cup opponents to see whether there were any +1 or -1 Level teams (there weren't) and I spotted this interesting bracket. Clicked on the 2nd Leg fixture (red box) to see what time it was, as that could make interesting watching, and got the listed disparity in team Quality (names have been redacted to protect the guilty/stupid).

WTF? I thought - a -39% team racking up that sort of scoreline - must be a bug. So, lets have a look at the 1st Leg (yellow box), away team expanded to show formation (blue box).



So a tanking formation in the 1st Leg of the 1st Round of the Cup!

1: I thought that you couldn't use that sort of tanking formation any more?
2: Why the h*ll would he - doesn't he like the Cup? He's won 7 previously according to his History.
3: Ah - abandoned team, left using that now-illegal formation? No, look at how his team is set up now...



4. So we have someone who tanked the 1st Leg (how?) to exit the Cup at the first opportunity, or someone who forgot to reset his team and paid the price, and is now hoping his team in proper formation is going to score 17 without reply tomorrow...

I would really love to score 16! A 58 percent team did that?!?! I haven't been able to break the 10 goal mark for 2 seasons now and i have played tanking teams too lol
Yup he probably forgot and hasn't adjusted his formation or playing on an older version
