How you can say the old format is more fair? From level 2 I had in CUP levels 18+, what was fair there?

I like this one, last season I won the CUP for the first time and thanks to this new system.

were the teams seeded in the old cup format? If so then it was probably fairer for the scout buyers lol

I was thinking you won for first time because your a mod am kidding i won my second cup last season, it`s champion league that my pain in XXX

So change the cup so its level based with +/- 1 level. It is not that facking hard to do. Nobody WANTS to meet higher levels if they dont have to. Nobody WANTS to meet higher quality if they dont have to.

At the end of the day, EVERYONE complains about the cup format, matchups, and results and we hardly hear about anything regarding the CL, because it makes more sense and is setup properly.

I think Nordeus has the right idea of matchups based on quality, but its so easy for higher level teams to make it a mismatch of quality by improving their squad. We all know this and have seen it, and have subsequently lost to people who do this. What is Nordeus doing to improve it? What can they do to improve it. FREEZE THE ROSTERS ON DAY 1. This will hinder the practice of buying scouts to wipe your lower level cup opponent off the map.

Is there any other way to improve the cup?

I think our experience may differ since we're all on different servers and no case are similar to one another. I'm quite satisfied on how things are on my server since I'm at the highest lvl, like all other competitors as well.

Depends on what you want from the experience I guess. Once you reach the very top level, none of the formats would give you much competition and what would be the fun in that? I believe this is a pretty decent way to make the game as competetive as they can in the different formats.
Both Champions League and League have been pretty boring for 2-3 seasons now since I know that most of the same-level-managers are in worse off positions than me and it'll take major mistakes from my part to not get 1st, or at the very very least 2nd.

The Cup gives a different way of competing against similar level managers. I have yet to be matched against a team that I would have no possible way of beating, but that is more server-dependant than anything else I'd say. And the closer to the top you get, the harder it would be to stay up there as the only way to get better players is by buying scouts or training them yourselves.

I'm more concerned with the awards for winning either of the formats. I'd much rather see a small amount of tokens to go with the cash awards than redoing the whole format. For easy wins you have the CL and the League, there has to be a challenge somewhere, doesn't it?

the way i see it cup matches is like F,A CUP, COPA DEL RAY ECT, small teams V bigger teams and chance of an upset and CHAMPIONS LEAGUE the best team V the best, way not have cup as it was and champions league v same quality whether opposition are higher or lower level

but there is more to win for the smaller teams in the real life cup comps...Nordeus should make the money better, or at least worth it.

The current CUP format sucks because it isn't fair at all. I played the old format for 10 seasons and with each higher manager level I reached one more CUP round and got more experience.
For me the CUP was a contest to increase young players. In each level I had the ambition to win the contest. But with the new format I couldn't care less because the CUP is mostly over in round 2.
For me the CUP sucks ....
