Today I won an important league game 1-0 but it was still bizarre. Was totally dominating this guy and then suddenly in the last 15 minutes, even though neither me or him made any changes in the line up or tactics (he was absent), he began bombarding me with his own attacks.
Felt like it was going to be a perfect representation of one of those games when you eventually get punished for failing to finish off your opponent.
Fortunately the narrow victory was secured thanks to... My 3 star goalkeeper pulling off several great saves. Okay.
Tomorrow is the big one, playing my only rival. Three points between us, I have won all games while his only loss was to me earlier this season.
He seems to be taking it seriously. After befriending each other, he scheduled a few friendlies when I wasn't around. Two regular time wins for me, one extra time win for him.
Due to much superior goal difference I feel like I have margin for error, but I'd still like to get that Invincible achievement early so I can fully focus on other goals later.
And by the way, these boost lab and hot shot events are such trash. Don't get us hyped for some rewards if you are going to feed us crumbs and then demand money for anything more than that.
