Ok, after the big step, selling some of my favorite players, I 'm ready.

start selling players from day 26/27


those transfers gave me a lot of money

and the day 28, the team is ready


my quality dropped about 4q. This is an opponent from my Cup, two levels above (lv9) who played in finals


In my lv8 Cup, still gonna meet teams 2 levels above but they are not be so strong like this one.

So I hope I'll not find some guy who using the same tactic, not having some troll results
and find some good young fast trainers asap

Won third treble in a row, Season 7, Season 8 & Season 9
feels good eh.. Investments didn't change at all, just tactics..
Going into season 10 with 350Tokens, should be enough to win my 4th treble :P

nice explanation.
now I know why I always fly out in round 2 the last 10 seasons

but why is the calculation of the cup so different and across the leagues? (just because it is the same in real life?)

Nice strategy but only works for token buyers haha. Non-token buyers like me cant afford to implement this strategy.

I will prefer to enter into a higher level cup. 1. Better Challenge 2. More Prize $$.

Ok, I kept 5 1* players and 9 5* players but the game add me some 3*, +30 y.o. players. Are they counting in fixing quality in the Cup or this was already done after the ending of the season ?

They are added afterwards because you had less than 11 players under contract and eligible to play. They don't count to Cup draw.

(And the out of contract players do count or we could have 14 7* players out of contract and get a draw based on 14 3*. )

No idea although there was much discussion about it in the early days....before my time. Also add a bit of logic (OK, yeah, I know, its T11 but still) - 14 is the minimum squad size.

PS. I did some Q manipulation on my team this season with 2x2* and 3x3* and its looking good. Unfortunately because my league went to the wire I had to sack a few to make space.
