I'm not so sure about the part about righties for right FKs and corners, and lefties for the other side. Robin van Persie is taking right corners for United, and Rooney on the left, they are inswinging corners which worked quite well against QPR.
If a freekick is slightly towards the left side of the field, it is a very good angle for a right footed player to take a shot, and a good cross can be made from that angle with either foot, again the only difference whether the cross is inswinging or outswinging.
Also, the guide would mean that a double-footed player with high crossing/shooting skill would be very desirable, right?
Usually I don't care about the preferred foot of the player, but I'd rather not buy a right sided player with left foot preference, for example, DR/DMR with left foot preference.
Also, penalty takers, do you look at shooting or finishing? I've been going with finishing, that's how players are automatically arranged on FIFA as well![]()
