Any player that plays on the flank is classed as such, DL/DR, DML/DMR, ML/MR, AML/AMR.
They do not need to be on the same side of the pitch as I understand it, so you could have a DL and AMR and that is fine, with all other players central.

I don't think this guide is up-to-date anymore, the game has changed a lot since he wrote it, and some things can only be explained by the game developers, we don't need a lot of things about the game engine, to be honest.

What's Skill point assigning for Goalkeeper?

SS-Shadow striker. This players have improved shots from the attacking midfield area. This is desirable for AML,AMR and AMC.

I've got a bunch of rest packs to spare and would like to get some powertraining done before the end of the season. My 18yo AML/ML often shoots from 30 meters during games, and every once in a blue moon from 20 meters too. Are these the shots that SS improves? Both the 20 and 30 meter distance shots?

what do the arrows do exactly

the blue and red ones i mean.
does up mean they move forward when attacking or when they have the ball.
and do the downarows mean, they stay in their position or do they move back when in posession or loss of the ball?

Definitely red means more attacking in some way, and blue means more defensive in some way.

There are many different interpretations of it, but for me, I take it to mean the player will move forward in attack/move back in defence. I never put red arrows on my forwards, nor blue arrows on my defenders and GK as they have nowhere to move in that direction.

Some players take it to mean they will dribble more/dribble less, I don't agree with that.

-If a play a MC on the AMC spot ... what is the penalty for this one cos regarding his form (7,8) it seems to be ok ?
