I have from time to time tried to follow the suggestions in regard to man to man and structuring an attack but it always backfires. Recently I set up a man to man in a league game vs a team i had beat by 3 goals the first time around. I ended up with a 4-0-4-1-1 and had 20% possession and a goal down at half. I changed to zone and from normal to attacking and barely leveled up at the 90th minute. Ended up with 35% possession much lower than the 60% I usually have. I very much would like to use specific formations etc but it seems to not work. Do teams react poorly to formation changes? The formation had very much fit the suggestions of Justdomes. Other times I have tried similar efforts I have had problems. Even directing passes to an obvious weakness seems to backfire. Man to man never seems to work even though the individual matchups are very favorable. Frustrating because it would be more fun if specific tactics and formations seemed to produce good results but I have seen little evidence to show they do. On the contrary they seem to hurt.

I've never used MOM personally I don't think the game engine is right for it, it's to random in events, others may differ but I don't trust it.
Out of all the the info justdome posted IMO the best you can adopt is counter and deploy with zonal.
Select orders that best suite your strength and the opponents weakness. Eg, attack heavy defensive set ups with OS trap and defend strong attacking formations with counter.
Don't be afraid to step outside the box with formations, I do it a lot with my formations, seems to confuse the engine. Today I played against a four man MF with only two DMC's directly opposing them, still had 72% possession.
I rarely play the same formation two games on the run, so sticking to one formation has no advantage IMO.
I have not played a game yet with less than 58% possession, I'm in my third season and only lost 3-4 games.
There are many good tips in his guide, there are also a few that are questionable, finding the right balance is the key.

-Would like to ask Accyrover that Section 4.8 is it reliable?
-the setting is it set accordingly Offside Trap with whole pitch and Counter Attack with own half?

-for the section 5.1 for legal and illegal formation setting.
-the system is it detect accordingly atleast 1 ST, 1 GK, 3 def and 1 Winger for each flank?

-if set red arrow means? blue arrow means? no arrow means?
    -can you list some examples?
-ML(red) consider play like AML? DC (red) consider play like DMC? MR(blue) consider like DMR,
Please correct me if im misunderstand.

-I still confuse about the formation... if i change the formation during the live match..
-system will confuse as illegal formation?
-tactics changing while live match is it can be activate?

Currently i had the doubt which stated above please try to help me answer if anybody able to answer...
    Millions Thanks in advance...

You say 4-3-3, but you describe a 3-3-2-2. Anyway, it's not illegal as you have DL and DR, and maybe AML and AMR, I'm not clear on what formation you're playing.

Any player that plays on the flank is classed as such, DL/DR, DML/DMR, ML/MR, AML/AMR.
They do not need to be on the same side of the pitch as I understand it, so you could have a DL and AMR and that is fine, with all other players central.

I don't think this guide is up-to-date anymore, the game has changed a lot since he wrote it, and some things can only be explained by the game developers, we don't need a lot of things about the game engine, to be honest.

hallo im a level 2 player

i have a question i not see mentioned in the guide.
what do the arrows do exactly

the blue and red ones i mean.
does up mean they move forward when attacking or when they have the ball.
and do the downarows mean, they stay in their position or do they move back when in posession or loss of the ball?

    thank you, in advance

Definitely red means more attacking in some way, and blue means more defensive in some way.

There are many different interpretations of it, but for me, I take it to mean the player will move forward in attack/move back in defence. I never put red arrows on my forwards, nor blue arrows on my defenders and GK as they have nowhere to move in that direction.

Some players take it to mean they will dribble more/dribble less, I don't agree with that.
