Hey magicafe, I'm using almost the same formation on my 2nd team(2x ST instead of AMC a good amc.) w/o Token spending or anything.. 5Stars team and so far we'r doing great. 11 Wins and 1 draw out of 12 games.

most important thing lately on this team has been the training bonus. I kept 11 subs and now i'm getting 10% bonus every day while training them. found that this helps alot...

With that formation you'r 1 step away from turning it from defensive to attacking by just switching your AMC to an MC or ST.
I also think that 3-2-4-1 DL DC DR DMC DMC ML MC MC MR ST is one of the best formations you can use lately. As it covers really good in defence, noticed that most of the people are using 2 or 3 players in attacking mid so yea..

In the begining of this season i didn't have many tokens on that team, around 30.. something like 40 green packs and that's it..
Didn't have any good DL or DC in the market so i bought a DMC instead.
Had to come out with any formation that fits my team and the results are surprising me so far..
15 Games, against equal teams in Cup / CL and League and we've got 14 wins, 1 draw 0 lost.
The only thing i do for this team is get 10% bonus every day.. so basiclly they play 1 game in the morning with 8% and 1 in the evening with 10% as i usually farm the bonus after work..
Anyhow, here's what im using on that team.

Tackling Style: Hard/Normal
Passing Style: Short (Should I set it to long , as my strikers are 194 and 192 cm tall)
Marking Style: Man-To-Man

Any suggestions?

I Wouldnt change my tactics but anyway 4-4-2 should be just fine. or a 4-5-1 flat You'll win anyway.

Any chance a 4-3-1-2 would work well, because my amc would keep his dmc busy and vice versa and then my strikers could deal with the defenders , all whilst my 4 defenders take care of his aml and strikers

Having free players in attack is better in my oppinion, if he has DMC, go with AML/AMR and not an AMC, they would have more free space to attack thru the flanks.
But still.. i don't think yuo would have any problem winning as long as you set your formation in a right way, don't do anything crazy. go get your 10% bonus, watch your game and you'll be alright.
