How to Win Against Any Formation?

Merry Christmas Everybody. Now, I am facing a 4-4-2 formation, seems to be easy win, since I have a better team rating on all positions and a 3-2-3-2 formation.

Somehow this guy beats me, even though i have hard attack, both wings, pressing all around,mixt passing, zonal marking, counterattack and offside trap. If any of you guys can give me some tips I would really appreciate it.

How to counter 4-2-2-2 without the use of AMs?
DR-DC-DC-DL
MC-MC
AMR-AML
ST-ST

I only have a AMR and quite a good ML.
The opponent team is if higher average team rating than my team.

If you have AMC then use 3 2 2 1 2

3DCs + DML/R + 2MCs + AMC + 2 strikers

normal mentality ... down both flanks ... mixed passing .. own half ... counter attack ... no offside trap.

An excellent attacking formation and strong in wing attack..

Can be countered by:

3-2-3-2:

A logical choice formation to use against the 4-3-2-1.. 3 DC to block 1 lone striker, a DML and DMR to block attacks from the flanks coming from the AML and AMR, 3 midfield to keep control and 2 strikers to go for goal.

3-2-2-2-1:

ST
AML-AMR
MC-MC
DML-DMR
DC-DC-DC

Fight fire with fire, 3 DC again to block a lone striker.. DML and DMR to block the AML's and AMR's which can feed passes up your own AMLs and AMRs to take advantage of the lack of wing defence and one lone striker to go between the 2DC..

There is no such thing as the perfect formation, however you can look for areas exposed in certain formations and take advantage.

4 4 2 classic and the unusual formation 4 2 2 1 1 with DML/R and 2 MCs is the hardest formation i had ever face but let's say ... the best way to beat these formation is 4 5 1 V stile but with red Arrows at DMC and blue arrows at AMR/L and red arrows at DR/L
and normal mentality ... mixed passing ... Own half ... counter attack ... offside trap.

Hmm... I'm running a "limited" team here... Been waiting for good players in the transfer market but this game server doesn't seem to have any... mostly 4* and 3* players only...

Can anyone help me how i could beat this formation?
I was thinking to play with a 3-5-2, but since I never seen this formation.



I won the 1st leg with 3-0 but then he was playing in a different formation
