I don't really like the auto-assignment of skill points either, because one may occasionally want a player to stay on a certain level ending in 4 or 9 because one plans to sell the player soon.
By far the biggest problem, however, is the inability to view players' morale and condition percentages. Without the condition percentages, one can't really do any really targeted training of one's players, and that is a major step down from the previous version. I know for a fact that many users really enjoyed to be able to do targeted training of their players. That was basically the big thing that you could do in between matches.
I like many things about the update, so from my point of view: If Nordeus product managers and developers could quickly get together and fix the obvious problems relating to auto-assignment of skill points as well as the missing condition and morale percentages, the update could actually be a great one.
Ok, so:
Didn't get any notifications for my match starting, can't see the attack or defend arrows very well, no percentage on health or morale, can't add a position or a skill, can't allocate your own skill points, drained the battery on my Z3 very quickly, screen is cluttered and swipe on smaller screens seems hit and miss.
What's not to like?
Really, guys, the simplicity (especially when played via smartphone) was the beauty of this app. What were you thinking?
I could give you time to see if you'll resolve some of the issues, but the battery drain problem means this needs to be uninstalled until at least that is fixed. Sorry, it's pretty and all, but that's about it.
My network ID is 781245452, and I've spent a fair bit of cash on the game over the past couple of years (feel free to check this) but not a penny more.

Look. This update is terrible. I am not against improvements, changes, not at all. Today on my iPhone the program has been updated, since I cannot do anything with that useless stuff what my favorite game became. I lost a match simply as I have not found out how the hell I can make now the substituations, etc. From a nicely organized, clean view you changed it to be a pixel war.... I am tired of finding out what is where, plus on smaller screens the game become a nigthmare.
So, sadly, but I have to say good by.... I am gone....
I've just tried watching my live match on the new version. Top-of-the-table League clash, and my DMC got injured early. And I couldn't figure out how to make a substitution*! There is a "change orders" button in the game screen, however pressing it DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, so I'm guessing there's a bug (I'm running IOS8.1 on an iPhone 5S).
*Luckily I haven't installed the update on my iPad, was able to log in there and do the substitution. And I won

Another issue that seemed strange to me, is that I cannot see the condition of the players, I just see the coloroud bar! If the bar is green then the condition would be somewhere between 80 and 99! So how am I suppose to train the players if I don't know the EXACT condition in numbers? Am I missing something here? Can I see the condition somewhere and I missed that? About moral OK, no need to know if for example is 92% or 95%, but condition is critical!
PS: The substitutes during the match are now a trouble, my phone has a 4.7" LCD, and I have to scroll the screen down to make a substitution...

Before this season started i was hoping to get in the Top 4 and then tank next season.
If Nordeus don't remove this auto add skillpoints there is no point i tank next season and if i don't tank i can't compete.
So i guess this is my last season.
I have Maybe not bought any tokens but i have watched a lot of videos and i have invited and helped many new players so you have made a lot of money on me.
But your greed know no limits so enough is enough.

2. 7 rest points for what: to rest all squad up to 100% or like in older version +15% ?
3. a tutorial about training session will appreciated
please take heed of the advice on here by the many disgruntled customers. the update is not a success. I know change sometimes feels different and it takes time to climatise. but the old version was working. it could definitely be improved upon, but fundamentally it worked.
i am still fairly new to the game but had been hooked since i discovered it. i have only used it on my mobile, so can only give advise for this platform.
As far as i can see the only improvements that have been made are cosmetic, and very debatable as to whether they are improved. personally i dont think so. but i can understand this is subjective and might just take getting accustomed.
but you have managed to take several steps backwards in the gameplay (most of which have already been mentioned in previous posts). which is obviously the most important aspect of the game. also the ease of navigation through the menus is nowhere near as user friendly as the previous version.
i know that there has been a big build up to this update, and probably alot of time, energy and money invested into it. and that peoples livelihoods are at stake if it is deemed a failure. so that as a company nordeus will defend it till the cows come home. but it simply is a big step backwards.
i will carry on playing the game for the meantime, in the hope they see sense, bite the bullet and revert to what made it work in the previous version. but i cannot envisage spending anymore money on this game in the future.
