I won the cup last season playing against teams 2 levels higher than mine - I was in level 10 - but as the game progressed past the preliminary stages, I began to play against teams in the same level as mine. Eventually, I played the final game against a level 10 team that had won the cup the previous season and I won, beating him 5 - 0. This was the first time I had won the cup, but the fact that I have always been drawn against bigger teams, has never made me abandon the cup games. I remember once, I was drawn against a team one level lower (I think, I was in level 9 and he was in 8) and it was that lower level team that booted me out of the cup! In essence, what I am saying is that, yes - the cup can be won, even playing against higher level teams! It just needs lots of patience, planning and some luck! I did it, you can do it too!

The number of clubs in cup competition could be reduced to 64 or 32, and it could be played as champion league. I think that would be much fair, cause as I see CL is much fair then cup, the only diference would be that there are more teams in cup competitions. That way the cup would be even more fair than CL.

The system is flawed if you ask me. If you play well in your season you can bet your behind that you will face teams with 1-3 lvl's higher in the cup matches next season. So you get actually punished for playing well. That is some strange logic. I understand that it is to give you a challenge but the way it is set up now it is no challenge. You get to play 1 to maybe 3 rounds and then your out.

Second, I should be facing similar levels or lower levels as well normally. This is not the case. You will only face higher level squads.

Third, champions league should be the hardest, but the advisaries you face there are often jokes (even though those jokes can beat you ). CL is like a 100 times easier then cup matches. Why?

Overall I do not care about cup matches anymore. They are a joke and an annoyance. I simply focus on league and CL and if by some gods miracle I get past the third round maybe, just maybe I start to care again. The current system is broken for good players.

The 45 level guy had no luck coz prolly he were lower region of 128... Such a high level they have (on his server) probably one 48LVL league and 1 or 2 47 and 2 or 3 46LVL and some 45LVL... unfortunately his Q was fitted amongst to the highest 128 teams...
That's why i always ruin my Best14 player's avarage on last days before new season... but prolly higher the level your efforts of lowering Q significantly harder and harder....

That is true 48 level is highest level on server 1 and they have only 1 league (14 teams). I am just unlucky, cause I have friend on 44 level same quality as mine and he is playing 45 level CUP. I am just unlucky for being 45 level, so I am playing 48 level CUP with 25-35Q strongest teams.

IF YOU WANT TO PLAY SIMILAR LVL TEAMS FOCUS ON CHAMP LEAGUE. seriously have none of you read the descriptions of the different leagues? All this complaining about something that is working as it is intended. I'm american and people call us spoiled brats that expect handouts to make things "fair" and i guess the rest of the world is like that too. Stop complaining about something that is working how it was designed just because it's "unfair" to you. CUP WASN'T DESIGNED TO BE FAIR TO YOU. IT WAS DESIGNED TO SHOWCASE YOUR ABILITY TO OUTSMART BETTER TEAMS, OR BE OUTSMARTED BY OTHERS.

Muskrat, I am with you about crying, but there is something with a cup system if you cannot get passed the 1/8th finals with a 6 star team full with special abilities. There is nothing with tactics there, you just face stronger teams. I haven't complained about the first 15 seasons, but it is getting old now to get kicked out of the cup without ever having a chance. Again, in the cup you get punished for playing good and keeping your team. You get rewarded if you sell the whole team at the end and just keep some 3 stars in your team to get a low rating. That is just plain stupid. It should be about the quality during the whole season. That way it isn't possible to cheat.

I was just checking my trophy stats and I found something interesting. This is on IOS and checked how I have been doing. Go manager -> Trophies and here is something I want to confirm with other players. I ended second in first season. Then I go the trophies of the second season. I win the league and the CL over there. Below the prices it says level 2. Below the cup trophy it says level 4? Is that how the cups are rated? Next season league and CL lvl 3, Cup level 6. In season 11 I see lvl 10 under my league trophy, but lvl 15 under the cup. Does anybody know if these are somehow connected to your powerlevel for the cup?

Cup like is now make your team, that can be the best of your level, as a 4th division team, and that without count the differance in market terms.

Here the problem, and my position will always be to defend as I've said a system that at least put you "in the group/pot" of the favourites/market advantadged (or how the he-- is called that lol) at least 4 seasons per year, I tink thats fair.
Then teams will plan the seasons a little bit different probably...

first of all cup is based on a quality range, not a level range. i was looking at teams in my draw. there is a guy lvl 25 vs a lvl 4.... but quality is relatively the same.

second, why, killroy, would nordeous cater to the free to play/ppl that don't spend much money on this game? They would go out of business. They need to make money too. PPl that spend money, win cups. why? Because they have the resources, ie money, to make their team superior. granted there are a few smart people that win the cup as well that don't spend money.

this is a business, not a handout for free. they want you to see your team sucks so spend money on tokens, or packs or whatever so they don't go bankrupt.
