An older case I wrote about.
Has to do with the CL final above.
I wouldn't watch my final, so was thinking to put a 4-4-2 classic as I was trolled many times from this formation in auto.
As I examined my players, saw that Schevsenko had no place in the 4-4-2 but checking his stats, he had many good games in CL (those stats are without use him in f-k or penalties).


How could I bench this guy ?
So I decided to use the 4-5-1 V and he scored the goal of the victory.

Performance in a favorite competition is more than a myth.
(for example Cup is not his favorite - at least this season)

Another myth here
My CL opponent, BRAUL, has a great ST.
High quality and white skills, f-k specialist , tall , both feet

tall , both feet

But does it matter ?

Not in my games.
His ST, Tax in those games above got a 7.0 and a 6.9 .
Strikers score a lot of goals when they have high q, playing against many weaker opponents and take a lot of free kicks.
In other cases, height or feet don't make much difference.

I 've played about 70 games in the recent event King of the kings vs a variety of oppo qualities.
Same q, weaker, little stronger and 2 much stronger (where I lost).
Everything in game play worked as I expected.
I can say that this is different from each competition or event.
I could say that events like Tour of ... or Play with the champs have the worst game-play.
Asso games also many times have crazy/troll/fixed games.
The three official competitions have some troll games but limited.
But King of the ... has the best game engine by far.

I can't agree with with, in the past events I've had quite bad results loosing frequently to worse teams, since last season where I got an impossible league and I think I've developed mt managing skills, i've been having almost all games with fat victories, today I socred 5-1 to a team with almost the same level as me.

Based on what I experiences in the Kings of Kings so far, I do not think they have the best engine; there is not much difference when compared to other competitions, and so, it is the same engine but with probably an added bonus for defence like said. The troll-like effect is still felt where nothing seems to work, but given that the amount of matches played per stage is relatively small, maybe you did not get any because you got lucky.

the amount of matches played per stage is relatively small, maybe you did not get any because you got lucky.

Today I played +30 more games from the 2nd phase so it's over 100 King of the kings games.
In Tour of ... events I have at least one (out of 10) troll/fixed game.
In Play with the ... (mixed humans and bot opponents) the same.
In associations I have at least 1-2 of the 16 games of the season, fixed/troll/weird .
In the three competitions (50 games per season) usually I have 1-3 games.

In those King of the ... games
I won the opponents I could
I lost from oppo I should lost (plus won some games vs higher q oppo)
No weird scores
No crazy stats
No super GKs
Orders seems that had a meaning and a result (I reversed some games where oppo scored very early)
Not once an early red card
And none of those 100 games finished at penalties

No crazy results and no unexpected super players like you said, but I still felt the troll effect in some matches and the feeling like nothing seems working but I tried fight and I got the win. Maybe those were just poorer rolls of dices. I lost one match in the first phase, and I also seen you lost one in the current phase, both of which were weaker opponents compared to our quality, but I rushed without plan in that match that was Iost, and only you know how you lost yours but I did notice the opponent blocking your players high with his odd formation. I am not blaming the game engine in those two cases. I also had 1 game that ended on penalties, and also I saw someone in my friends list whose match ended on penalties too. In the second part of the first phase, someone beat my team on penalties. I know this because he challenged me back and he won but he had a goal difference of 0 after the only match he played. So, better engine than the one we got in the Cup and CL, maybe yes, best engine, no; there is a lot of room for improvement.

Indeed yesterday I lost a game vs a team with weird formation.
He had 2 only defenders and the rest in midf. and attack.
The game started with an early goal, it seems that I should at defend/counters but I switched to attack thinking that i have better q (113 vs 102) but conceded another goal.
Then I payed 2 tokens to play immediately another game with him, thinking that luck this time won't be on his side and I was right.
Today I didn't lost any game.
I defended 5-6 times vs the 2nd and the 3rd, I lost a game but took it back for free.

Interesting.
Now you 're saying, I noticed that happened in my games too.
Definitely there is a different game engine.

I lost another match, 1-0, but I used 2 tokens to challenge again and won 2-0 in extra time and was a hard fought match, and the orders I had to used was less logical. The opponent was about 10-13% weaker. I noticed that goals scored in extra time do not count in the goal difference too, so, correction from my part for what I said previously, the opponent that beat my team with no goal difference in the second part of the first phase could have won in extra time or by penalty shoot-out.
