Is something going wrong with the strikers lately ?

I have a funny striker

Yesterday, it was cup semi-final, he got a ball from midfield, run and dribble to go in front of GK (one to one) and instead of kicking to the goal post he pass way back to the left winger and when left winger receive the ball he market by opponent DR (angry)

not once, happen again, one of midfielder pass him (ST) the ball he receive the ball and when face the GK alone again he pass back the ball to same midfielder who pass him before (angry)

I have 3 striker (6*, 5*, 4*), I'm keep switching them but their scoring and assisting ability worse than my defenders
my one of dmc and dc, aml, amr are highest scorer and assist

A solution i found about the strikers, was to make 3 players ST + AM and make a rotation in their positions so to keep their stats in a good level.
I play with AML-AMR-ST so I switched them from time to time.






I know, it's expensive to make them like those, You must find young fast trainers and give them extra positions spending a lot of greens but one solution is if you stay in the same level for a season like I did the previous one.

Well, it's being a long time since I made a post here so time to bring it on again.
This season, my League is full of weak teams of 2-3*.
Did well in the first round



no complain about that, but wth my ST isn't at top 5 scorers ? (yeah, I know )
Bought him, renamed him as the old Dutch legend, Johnny Rep, and gave to him "One to one" s.a. - and some extra quality.
This should be enough to beat 3* opponent defenders and GKs - but no.





So today I started an experiment, giving some extra at Shooting & Finishing and little extra too at Dribbling, Speed, Strength to see how he 'll react in the 2nd round.






Today in my League game, he scored twice for first time.
I 'll be damned.
Didn't expect that.



I wonder if it was coincidence or those extra skills helped or switched some button.
I 'll follow up till the end of the League to see what's going on

* I use 4-5-1V, most of the goals come from my AML-AMR and I don't use REP for F-K or penalties.

Train aggression and bravery on them. They will take more initiative.

Nordegens dont exist now.

Nordgens came from Bot teams. Now they come from the system, the Genesis of the creation of fried potatoes. lol

I remember I once saw a "hint" in the game, when I played without strikers at all - it said that strikers' main goal is to keep the defenders busy, or something like that. That kinda explains it. You can try it yourself. By the way, it's one of the achievements, to win without the strikers/

who really need a striker when all the scoring is from your aml/amr. just get the best out of the game and put an average striker.
