CK specialists do not work anymore

I think the struggles of strikers with corners are due to two things:

1. As seen in the screenshot of the player above, crossing is a gray stat on strikers; meaning its useless to the play the position effectively. So the game has a paradox where the better a strikers crossing, the worse the performance of the striker.

2. The skills and physical ability of the player on the end of the cross matter. I think (not entirely sure) that skills like positioning, heading and strength are key to converting good crosses into goals. A good cross is great, but if the players in the box, lack the ability to convert a good cross into a goal, its just a wasted opportunity. So a good CK specialist, is more reliant upon his teammates than a good FK specialist, that can go direct for goal himself.

1. Well my st that observe above is also a wing am so his corossing is not grey out.

2. Hm I cannot say I have observed the same. After so many seasons of playing still I did not receive a clear sign that individual skills play any role.

So at least my theory is that individual skill does not play any role in efficiency of a corner kick.
And one big proof for this, is that I had 2 seasons the exact same players.
Same ck player was top assister in one season, in second season where I observed the twist, he sent all the balls in the gap

1. Sorry about that, I didn't realize your ST played AML/AMR as well. My apologizes for making an assumption.

2. I'm confident that a correlation between player skill attributes and performance does exist; although some white skills might be more important than others. I understand that it doesn't guarantee victory, but what i've noticed is a frequency of blowouts against teams close in quality heavily favors me. When I get beat, its seldom by a wide margin, it's like 1-2 type matches. The 5-1 type games (including assoc) are heavily in my favor. I"m guessing what's happened is due to having superior white stats, when I'm outfoxed tactically, my players have enough quality to keep the match fairly close, providing me with an opportunity to adjust late before it's completely out of hand, and hopefully salvage something from the fixture.

Firstly I used 4 3 2(amc,amr) 1st, then 3w123w1. He plays in the AMC role.

let me share if this help somehow. My player George Best 2 season stat. I didnt assign a CK to him in level 27 in the next season level 28 i give him the CK and you can see the different in his assist. He got no SA bt i think his crossing skill help somehow. Today we won our cup quater with a single goal from his corner, just when we need it.
So i think skills matter.
Now is regarding gray skill. My dl Drazen Tomasevic have a SA aerial. I can see the icon flashing when the ball is clear from oppo corner. He is the only player i have for aerial. If you look at his heading skill its gray and the weakest. His SA helps cover his low heading skill.So SA matters too.

That is good. That is what I am trying to spot.
When the ck kicker is the only striker in the game his assist corner ratio drops.

About skills...

One of my best ck kickers was once a DC without crossing enhanced and without sa.
I strongly believe that corellation of crossing skill with the corner is just a coincidence

Corner kick taken by a winf defender.
Scorer my sole striker (4-1-4-1 formation)

So if my striker was the one that kicked the corner, would anyone be in his boots in order to score?
Or it would be a corner kick with the ball ending in a wide gap in the penalty area?
