Thread: A WTF match which needs an explanation to rest in peace

    Sure, knowing how everything works will make unbeatable teams, but that's not what I'm saying. I tried other games and some tell you when your condition is too low to play a game, risking a defeat and suggesting you to take a rest. In TE we only know that a low condition equals an higher risk of injuries and that's all, we don't know what's the minimum required (if anything) to actually put up a fight. I won with extremely low condition and lost at full 99%. Morale is the same, the win bonus we don't know if it gives an actual morale bonus or nothing. Can we get an extra "+" icon in the players morale so we would know? As it is, it's just a gauge to press and you lose money.
    In Top FM some players have an already built SA to unlock and train, instead of TE when you choose the one you want without knowing if it will work. Can we finally have an official word saying that only ONE SA works on a certain player and that it's up to you to discover it? Can we know if it has to do with his skills? Other games have a full time simulation where you see what your team is actually doing, if players are missing passes, or if they can't go through defense and react accordingly. In TE you have a set of animations that mean all and nothing. % of successfull passing can mean anything, even if you win or lose with an higher percentage. After months of complaints I still don't know why associations perform better away than home, including a far better possession despite playing with all the possible bonuses and strategy. In other games, playing "possession" is an actual strategy option among many, while also giving you the ability to choose to play with a narrow or a more wide team covering more field. You can choose to attack from the center or try crossing more. You get the choice, you actually see it working. In TE we get half-assed options like focus passing, like where? Do we get the choice as from where trying to shoot? I see some players attempting to score when they have 2 players in front, but that as some people say, it's not a "real" simulation. So what? What is happening? Are my players shooting from afar trying to surprise a low quality GK? Are they crossing if there are no aerial defenders?

    All of this was fun years ago, when I tried to figure it out, but the game progressed, changed to a shiny new UI, added more tournaments and features, but still we are stuck with the same humble engine that decides stuff on its own. Quality and strategy should be the ultimate elements to decide a game, then morale and condition, then possibly any other bonus that might get you that last push over the opponent. But apparently no matter how perfect you prepare, you get your ass kicked. And when you try to analize your defeat, stats are on your favour, ratings are good, you countered your opponent well. Well, thanks?

    Sorry if I repeat myself, but I grew really tired of this, mainly by looking at what other games have to offer while TE is starting to lag behind, lacking basic features. Nordeus might push for ingame purchases which I will always defend, they need money to live, but it won't come if the game quality is lowering with time.

    Just hit the spot! Everything seems to be random in terms of condition or morale, and I think only FK/CK specialists and Wall/Areal actually works. Of course, no one would predict to be invicible in a game or you may be vulnerable in some points like in TE 2016, which I loved and these bull****s were more less happening, however being beaten by 40% weaker opponents in important matches such as finals is unbearable. I play PES CM for 2-3 months, it has so many bull****s in it too, no game is perfect of course. Sometimes, you feel you get trolled but only when you play against equal or slightly weaker teams. Also, I assume these happens on purpose as well as video issues in TE. I totaly agree with Tyltyl, Nordeus should earn from in-game purchases but not like that, come on no one would pay more if it does not change the things one can achieve in a game, there is no point to invest more unless you can change the outcome. Myself for instance, realized that buying 1500-2000 tokens to build a really strong squad won't change my progress so much compared to spending 1000 tokens per month in the game, if the system wants me to lose there is really nothing I can do. Some say that opponents would counter you, I do not believe this too because it happened me so many times I was beaten by a weaker oppo while I beat an equal opponent and this equal oppo beat that weaker oppo easily, all the formations we used were same in the three matches and I do not think tactics would be different so much. These have been written so many times too but no response shown by Nordeus in the game, it really tires and that's a fact that they won't change their manners to their customers as I said before. Funny thing is it seems trolls are really on the rise as some claimed that they did not come across with them before now complaining about those. I am curious of how Nordeus would ruin this game more

    2 days ago i decided not to manage my team anymore....i set up a 4-4-2 classic and i didnt preped any game.......the only thing i did was the usual training conbination to put bonus at 10%.....also i gave up watching live games....i only connect after the game ended to see result...

    you guys wanna know what kind o results i had??? heheheheheh gonna keep this experience 2 more days and ill leave here the conclusion

    My 2 other teams I just train them for 10% bonus, sometimes I can't manage time so team play with 6 or 8% bonus, all nord provided 31 yo players, never boost or use any blue for their moral in this season and gess what :P

    Started a few months back and this game is becoming so depressing I lost the league today because a 12th position nobody has registered his fourth win of the season against my team. What is the point of being favorite? I know there are many variables involved but losing to a ghost manager.

    Yeah...all results really got out of control... nothing matters anymore: condition, trainings, morale, tactics...everything is one big mystery. i don't even know how to arrange my team in field since counter-formations doesn't work anymore... it's tiring and there's no fun anymore

    Wow, you have really hit the spot in this thread on what is wrong with this game!

    No point for me to write the same again, but I totally agree with you. Especially around the game engine it self, so many unknowns and guessing - but you never know what does anything. This is so important to improve, instead of putting a lot of new abilities into the game - the game core is what drives the game and the managers and really needs an overhaul.

    Many good points in this thread, so hopefully Nordeus will read and do something about it.
    I believe that a better game core, will keep managers active and attract more, in turn making a bigger earning for Nordeus - more than new fancy features, and a bad game core will do.
