Cup draw logic

Yes you are effectively being punished for achieving success. Yes this is normal. You've read the forum so you'll know that there is a way to avoid this. How you play your team is your decision, but if you play "fair" or true to the real world, you will suffer +1 level cup draws. And so you'll come up against players like this.
There must be money (or the possibility of money) for Nordeus to let this continue? Perhaps the hope is you'll spend in order to compete? Perhaps it's just too complicated for them to make draws where all teams are the same level?
Whatever the reasons, Nordeus seem to be in no rush to change their system.
So you play "fair", and suffer?
Or beat the system?

Thank you Altiplano. I clearly see what you mean. But still I do not understand why this is necessary. If you want to play fair and try to have a game as similar to the real soccer as possible, you get punished, and if you want to avoid this punishment, you need to start cheating or manipulating or tanking as well. Is this the way it works? Does it make any single sense?

I lost to a super tanker last season in cl. Obviously he put out a number of other teams to win his cheap cl title. Basically there are a number of these teams out there and they will play someone each season. You've just been unlucky and drawn the short straw. Wont be just you. It will be his next opponent and the one after. Every user in your cup has had their treble dream crushed on day 1. Not a good feeling and damaging to the game.This sort of abusive tanking needs to stop imo.

Agreed, rogerniceguy. Its exactly as you describe it. There are 64 or 128 or 256 teams in the single cup draw (did not count them) and all of them know from the very first season day they are not able to win it. Extremely frustrating. And there must be a way how to avoid it, because the tanking teams behavior is completely different from the fair teams behavior (average quality in the matches played for instance) that it must be so easy to detect them.

Indeed in my cl last season I stayed level. My 157% supertanker was actually 1 level lower than me lol (177% his level)

I think that the competion against 1+ level is the worst Nordeus problem to fix(well there are a lot of gaming problems yes) and it s simple. It s not equilibrate, not fairy, just frustation. Will fix it? I don t care...

The +1 thing is a bigger and bigger issue. As ppl manipulate tank and the training system is muted it is so much clearer how many of us are playing with a hand tied behind our backs. About time they levelled the playing field

Worst part is...when u are about to face +1 team in cup, and they just won IC, u will be a dead meat right away coz u will face 3 players with 150% skills (normally 130, but since they are +1 lvl, they become 150% to u...)

I thought about writing the exact same comment. Another reason +1 is flawed. Better hope no +1 teams in my cup or cl win ic this weekend or I'm screwed like you say if they have a 150% player relative to my level

sorry but why the rich will pay if he doesn't have any advantage from that ?
