Ok, it is done. And the manual too.
I liked the look of this but loading it up on my Microsoft excel 2010 it would not run the macros and therefore I can't run the calculations
Its great.
No, no... its Supergreat.
Im working with it... i advice you, if i find bugs.
Valid that the file extension is ".xlsm" so that you can open the macros.
Excellent job Toxcatl, it's very informative and helpful :)
Version 1.1.1 is here. A few bugs have been fixed, e.g. GK sheet wasn't working.
Download Right now!
If you don't have MS Office, go and get LibreOffice, because there is ITP for LO now! =]
download ITP LO
download LibreOffice, it is free and open source software
HAHAH Nice! Open Office!
I wonder, why did I start to make ITP in MS Office and VBA instead of Google Sheets and Java Script?
I should fix it.
GKT is just an ordinary drill, and you level it up as any other drill. It doesn't goes up automatically every time you tap Defense and choose to improve another defensive drill. All I want to say is if you have high level GKT, you can virtually improve level of any other (low-level) drill by adding several GKTs before that drill in the training schedule.
It is good to have GKT as high level as possible. It is also good to have all the drills unlocked. But it's not that important to level up other drills after you have unlocked them. Levels in GKT are more useful.
Super... Tox.
Fantastic job... the perfect add for TE.
Thx man.

happens to me after I hit apply
Here's a list of all key skills and all "clean" drills (that don't train grey skills) for every single position. And also leftovers -- key skills that you can't train to this position without training at least one grey skill. If your player has several positions, he also has key skills and clean drills from all of them, plus probably a couple clean drills more. Use ITP if you wish to know all the clean drills for any combination of positions, and stuff.
Goalkeeper Training drill is good for everyone, so I don't include it.

can you please look into the above chart and help me which training plan should i do to improve the above player.
how does the numbers change in excel post training the skills
Many of the posts above are not accurate any more as we had changes in training system.
Technically, Toxcatl's Individual Training Program still works, and still has value. I use it to train position groups (DL/DR, MC, AML/AMC/AMR etc) and you can still target specific skills (and avoid specific skills if desired). What has changed, as you documented, is that skills gain faster or slower now depending on the individual skill level rather than the overall player level. For a single player, a skill at 85% will gain faster than a skill at 105% (and a white skill at 85% will gain faster than a gray skill at 85%).
So, I still use the ITP to create training regimens but I have to now keep in mind what each skill level is for each player. For example, I just cross-trained an Academy DL to also be DC. On a DC, Heading and Strength are now white skills where they were gray on a DL. So, my new DC has weak Heading (68%) and Strength (48%), so I can target those two skills by training Defending Crosses and Gym. It takes much more time to really do it right, and most people won't have that much time but it still can be done. :(
Does the excel sheet number changes as the player skills increase ?
That’s a great question! No, the spreadsheet numbers show you how many training points are going to each skill based on the drills selected. What we cannot see (since it is hidden in the game mechanics) is how many training points it takes for a skill to increase by 1%. We also cannot see how that number changes for fast trainers.
Here is how I think it works (these are made up numbers for now but you get the idea):
- A white skill between 60 and 79 takes 10 training points to increase by 1%
- A white skill between 80 and 99 takes 20 training points to increase by 1%
- A white skill between 100 and 119 takes 30 training points to increase by 1%
- A white skill between 120 and 139 takes 40 training points to increase by 1%
So as a skill increases, it takes more and more training points to increase by 1%.
Plus, I think each player has something like a multiplier on the training points he receives from a session that is based on his internal "training quality" or whatever you want to call it. For example, an 18 year old first class Fast Trainer might get 3x as many training points from a session, a 22 year old second class Fast Trainer might get 2x, and a 26 year old slow trainer might get 1x or even less (again, I am making up numbers just to make a point). So how fast a skill increases depends on how high the skill is to start and how fast the player trains. All of that is hidden in the game engine though so we cannot see exactly how they calculate it. What the spreadsheet is still good for is knowing exactly which skills you are training.
I am in my 11th season, and not even single trophy :(
In league I end up between ( 3 to 8) and in other tournaments initial round or Max quarter. Feeling annoyed
I am unable to figure out what is that I am missing ?
Hello guys,
Is Tox's guidanse from the topic's 1st page still relevant for current version?
Yes and no (it's complicated!)
- The spreadsheet still works for calculating how many training points go to each skill depending on the player's position and level of the drill.
- If a drill trains both white and gray skills, the white skills get more of the training points (meaning the points are not split evenly among all the drills).
- A skill will increase slower the higher it is, whether it is white or gray.
- The idea (I believe) is to first train white skills with drills that match the players position until they get to 120 or higher (when they slow down) then start focusing on the gray skills (which will increase quickly since they are usually low).
Check my posts just above (#147 and #149).
It takes more work now to properly choose which drills to use, and sometimes you have to train each player by himself to be really efficient. But if you pay attention to the level of that players skills (all of them, not just his white skills or overall ability) and pay attention to what skills a particular drill works, you should be more successful.
Here's a before and after of one of my wingers:

@TropicThunder,
Thanks for such a good answer!
Ok, then there are a couple of more questions.
I'm training my DC.He has 6+*. As for a DC the following are relevant skills and drills for him:
Key skills: Tack, Mark, Pos, Head, Brav, Fit, Str, Aggr
Clean drills: Press the Play, Hold the Line, Warm-Up, Gym
And I'm going to repeat [`Press the Play`-->`Hold the Line`-->`Warm-Up`-->`Gym`] until he reaches 7*.
1. I wonder if the drill order matters. Is it a smart idea to finish each training session with very hard drill (like `Gym`)?
2. I bet somewhere here or even in official guidance I saw an advice to start each session with `Warm-Up` and to end with `Stretch`. How about it?
Hi, im new here... how do you know a player is fast trainer or not?
