I'd heard a few rumours in the last season or so that people were reporting goalkeepers getting injured in games - something I had never experienced before.

Due to these rumours for the first time ever this season (other than when I was levels 1-5/6 and new to the game) I decided to have a back up keeper "just in case".

Well, 3 mins into my first game today - and who gets injured? - For the first time ever, its the Keeper! Thankfully a replacement on the bench could take his place. He's justified the 12 Tokens I used on Negotiation list to bring him to the club now in my opinion.

Palace teams report, Sunday...

First up, Palace Terriers with an away Cup Play-off Round 1st Leg match, and Ingo Schmitt fired home an 83rd minute equaliser to give Terriers an away goal in a 1-1 draw.

Palace Casuals had been read the riot act after their poor League performance this season, and turned in a marginally better display in a 1-1 home League draw. Striker Reda Mourad blotted his copy-book with a first half Penalty miss which would have given Casuals a quick equaliser of the visitors' opener, but the home side had to wait until mid-way through the second half to register on the scoreboard, recent Youth graduate midfielder Paul Clayton heading home an Artem Garaev corner for his debut first team goal.

Desert Rats FC got into action at tea-time, failing in their Cup 1st Leg match at home, a 0-2 defeat. The only action of note for the Rats was left-winger Chris Passmore being the latest casualty, being carried off in the 90th minute.

Palace Terriers went into League action mid-evening, and were soundly Trolled 0-1 at home (full details in the Vent thread...). To add insult, Goalkeeper Rob Johnston was another injury victim.

Desert Rats' League match was against a team which had suddenly gained 7.6Q on them, and it was predictably a tough match for them. Right-back Liam Digby started his 50th appearance for the Rats, but the side went down to a 0-3 defeat.

Cup update: 1st leg lost 2-0 away, 2nd leg won 2-1 home. Out of the cup... WHO CARES

CL: Won 4-2 away, still in 3rd, 2 points from 1st. Playing opponent in last today.

League: Won 2-0, and drew 0-0 yesterday. Currently sitting in 4th, 4 points from 1st. Todays match we playing opponent in 5th.

CL group match won 2-0. Substituted MC who got a yellow card in the 63rd min, MC that I brought on assisted in the 1st goal in the 66th min. He clearly influenced the boys, the 2nd goal came a minute later in the 67th. Pushes us up to 2nd, playing 1st day after tomorrow.

Got a new DC/DR. Normally my players market value is 109M/110M/111M. My first time seeing a players market value at 112M.. Does this mean his a fast trainer?

I think that he is probably fast but likely not a very fast trainer, and he had already reached 6 star.

My team is one level lower. I have a GK, age 18, 152Q (5star), value 111M. He gains 16.8 progress in average for light sketching. He is quite good but not a very fast trainer. If i just buy it now and its quality is 154Q, I believe he trains more slowly.

Another player is a MC, age 20, 153Q, value 110M. His gains almost exactly the same progress on training as GK mentioned above. So I actually cannot expect player training progress. Sorry, just ignore me.

When I got him he was 5*, 1 skill point away from 6*... I have also noticed with some of my players, got a 21 yr old that trains faster than my 19 yr old...
