Is something going wrong with the strikers lately ?

Well, it's being a long time since I made a post here so time to bring it on again.
This season, my League is full of weak teams of 2-3*.
Did well in the first round



no complain about that, but wth my ST isn't at top 5 scorers ? (yeah, I know )
Bought him, renamed him as the old Dutch legend, Johnny Rep, and gave to him "One to one" s.a. - and some extra quality.
This should be enough to beat 3* opponent defenders and GKs - but no.





So today I started an experiment, giving some extra at Shooting & Finishing and little extra too at Dribbling, Speed, Strength to see how he 'll react in the 2nd round.






Today in my League game, he scored twice for first time.
I 'll be damned.
Didn't expect that.



I wonder if it was coincidence or those extra skills helped or switched some button.
I 'll follow up till the end of the League to see what's going on

* I use 4-5-1V, most of the goals come from my AML-AMR and I don't use REP for F-K or penalties.
