Is it possible to have a very strong team without spending real money?

Is it possible to be a successful manager without spending any money? I have around 180 tokens, 70 rests right now.. Team is exactly 100%..

I start to play this game on June 2016, right now lvl 11 manager & club, so far : 10 League, 6 CL, 8 cup, 0 SL and 4 TC; never bought token

Yes you can build monstar team without spending token and resources then you going to compete against monstar team too.

7/8 season before I tank 2 or 3 seasons build up my 6* team, every players with 3 positions and sa, spent very low amount of resources but when my players start to playing on the field they were 20 yo, right now every season I buy 2/3 5* FT they also start on the field at the age of 20; this way I'm replacing my old players (25 yo) and having 20 yo FT with spending very minimal resources.

For example, screenshot, those players I start to training form this season, bad luck can't find 5*, which will cost me extra green later but they will replace my 25 yo players after 2 seasons (as of new recruits will be 20 yo by that time). keep in mind small calculation, each season you can use 48 * 28 = 1344 condition or 1344 / 15 = 89 free green (no videos) to train a player.

Tanking doesn't help because you 're out of CH.L. so must build a very strong team to last for tow seasons, not just the next one.

ive never spent a penny on t11, 9 league titles, 6 cl's 4 cups 2 super cups 2 trebles in all that. im level 17. my association is gold division 1 so get tokens off that. usually i wont buy many players for 2 seasons ( maybe just 1-2 max) then get to 200 plus tokens and buy scout and sponsor recommendations plus decent auctioned 18 yr olds.
ive never finished outside top 2.
i train my players hard, bonuses always 10%, watch videos for greens, maxed training level 91 out 2 seasons ago.
mnk's method sounds ok but not my cup of tea. being in a league full of **** teams sounds boring, you could not log in for a week, train players etc and you'd still win all your games.
i like it as i go to higher levels as there are more good teams, more league champions, cup winners, teams of pedigree, dont tend to have run away winners anymore and the top 6-8 sides can all get results against each other. more exciting league.

but i guess if you count outwit managers of similar quality teams then u find hacks.

i like football though when i play it i dont want to play teams we just smash. its boring pretty quickly,

It doesn't work with the highest level teams (my main team is level 63 after 4 seasons of tanking).

BTW, MNK is short for futsal club, so MNK Kaskada translated to english is futsal club Kaskada

There are 2 main questions in the initial post which do not come necessarily together. You can have a sucessful team AND/OR have a very strong team without spending a dime. I cannot technically consider myself as a strictly "non-spending" manager as I bought 500 T during my first month in the game. But since then, nothing ! And I once had over 5000 T! But the best team I ever had (in terms of quality) is the current one. And it's probably never going to win the treble. On the other hand, I won trebles with 110% teams. So nothing to do with spending. If you want to spend real money, I would suggest you to gain experience first, read the forum and experiment. And when you're ready, go for it.

I will only buy tokens if Im in crisis.. No trophies in many seasons.. So far its okay.. Although I would love to win treble.. I am getting used to the tactics && details of the game.. The conversations here has helped me a lot.. Thank you everyone for that

What ever formation you decide to play, you should always start with normal, mixed, zonal, yes counter, yes ofside trap, low presure (start with low, if you are losing then second half play hard). During the games you shall see how it goes and change tactics as you think it should go better. It's not posible to make tactic that is good against every opponent, even if they play same formations you don't know what tactics they use.

2/3 seasons tanking, build a 6* team, without (or minimal) resources spending, I can use that team until retire all players or I can use until their age of 25 (which I like most). So if I use until age of 25 then they are playing 5/6 seasons (age 20-25) on my club, at least 3/4 seasons (age 20-23) they will be 7* or close to 7* end of the season and you don't need to spend tons of resources.
