Still in the running for a quad. Semis of CL and Cup final scheduled for the week ahead. League is already guaranteed. Surprisingly all teams that I once feared with well trained white skills but low greys have all been eliminated from both competitions by lesser and more balanced teams. Now being the team with the stronger whites and lower greys, I might face the same fate. I wonder what is the safety level for greys in order not to be penalised if there is such a thing.
Nouvion FC got through to the Champions League Semi-Finals yesterday, but it took 49 minutes to get themselves into the match. Defending a 1-0 lead from the home Leg, their opponents equalised the aggregate four minutes before the break, but left-winger David Dorizon only took four minutes after the restart to restore the lead. Two goals from right-winger Gary Sampson put the tie beyond reach, and Nouvion ran out 3-1 winners on the day, 4-1 on aggregate.
The 1st v 2nd League match in the evening didn't go according to plan. The visitors quickly rattled up a 3-0 lead, and nothing the Nouvion Management did was effective in countering their play. Central defender Manuel Vildoso pulled a goal back before half-time, and the home side had more of the play afterwards, but a further goal for the opponents put the seal on a first home defeat in the League for Nouvion FC.
Today's League match was the team's chance to get themselves back on track, a visit to the basement club the ideal follow-up to yesterday's fiasco. David Dorizon flourished, netting four times, two either side of a Gary Sampson Penalty and another corner cameo from Chris Mann (header) and Celio Pita (set-piece).

2:2 against Zak FC. Missed some support there and this is second time I am playing him. He reshedule both games and that's why (I guess), but his asso friends where ready to support him. I started playing 4-1-2-3 with offensive wingers that actually are playing like MC's. I know it is dumb, but actally works for few last games and it's good cause I am playing low pressing, condition is about 80% after game. First I thought that it's good if my team have less possesion, now I think I need more.![]()

Desert Rats FC joined their junior side in the Champions League Semi-Finals yesterday, finishing off their friend opponent with a 1-0 win in the home Leg. Midfielder Edward Thomas scored in the 62nd minute to give the Rats a 3-1 aggregate win.
The recent slump in League form continued both in yesterday's home match and today's away fixture. Right-winger Oliver Schenkel scored a 23rd minute equaliser but the team failed to build on this and the visitors escaped with a point. Schenkel turned villain today as he missed the Rats' only set-piece in a drab 0-0 draw.

End of week 3. There is still hope for my first ever quadruple!
League - With a big lead and very weak opponents, i have been playing my reserves and not been attending matches regularly preferring to focus my main team on both CL and Cup. And one of those matches that i missed ended in a draw. I guess it isnt a troll result since i did not attend? I was 20 percent stronger and his GK got MOM. Classic!
Cup - Was expecting to meet an insanely strong viet team in the finals. She has players with 200 plus whites and 1 percent greys but she got knocked out by a very balanced SKG in the semis. And she had 10 percent higher quality. Goes to show the importance of grey skills in todays game.
CL - I just eliminated the team with the best white skills in the quarter finals. His whites were close to 200 but none exceeding, greys were also mostly 1. My whites were in the 140 range with greys around 50 to 80. My quality was about 10 percent higher. Now in the semis, i face a team that knocked my semi active friend out in the round of 16. My mate was at least 10 percent better in quality and has scouts. Some from last season and some purchased this season. He never attends matches and did not train to max for both legs. I checked with him post elimination. And i won the first leg 4-0. I liked to think the preparation made the diff or maybe scouts really aint that great since his quality at that time is pretty similar to mine now.
Last day of my Long weekend! Happy easter!
@EastsiderSG if your opinion is true then someone is attacking the mutants, then my question is: what happens to teams with legitimate mutants?
