July Fourth 118.6 4-3W-1-2 - ALPDER 113.9 4-4-2 Classic
This was a tough encounter on paper, although ALPDER are not in a great league position, they are a 5*/6* hybrid team and are no mugs and a poor performance from July Fourth could easily result in us losing points. We started the game in the right manner with Michu calling all the shots and he got into an advanced position and was fouled in the area to give us an early penalty, Michu however put it wide, but 4 minutes later it was 1-0 when Michu converted a free-kick for us and made up for the penalty miss, Michu had 3 or 4 more chances to score in first half, but it was wide, over and out for a corner each time and we made nothing from the corner. We replaced Pietropaolo with Papaleo in the 2nd half and immediately Papaleo made a run past the defence and into the area and once again fouled that resulted in another penalty for us, This time we had our specialist on the field and Papaleo made no mistake in making it 2-0, we continued to dominate the game and possession and had more chances from Michu but made nothing once again, ALPDER proved they were no mugs and grabbed an 85 minute goal when Bayiha got past the last defender and curled it around the keeper, we held on for the win.

Team Talk: We are delighted to have won this difficult game but we drop to 2nd place since Batigo won 6-0 earlier and have overhauled our GD lead. Now they have a GD advantage of 3. nakompathom still remain 2 points behind us both and our next 2 league games are crucial, nakompathom at home followed by Batigo away. This could well decide our league season and where we finish inside the top 3.
