here is a summary #172

and a faq #139

yes, actually nordgen are players created by the program, to increase the available players in tm.Quote:
Is first day the first day of the season?
It's not something, an idea or a feature of the game that nordeus promotes or advertise ,
you know "Find and develop the fast players the game offers".
It's something known only in the forum or if someone noticed that after many tests or if someone spread that info in a local TE fb group.
So, the first day of the season, maybe from the reset or maybe because many players are out of contract and managers didn't wake up, renew the contracts or start selling them, the game creates more nordgen than usual.
I read somewhere that nordgen like to come when there is an update in scouts list but I didn't notice that so far.
http://forum.topeleven.com/top-eleve...t-updated.html
I´ve found good Nordgens throughout the season there does not seem to be a hard & fast rule when they pop up bar that it will be early morning 5am -8am in cet :)
Thanks!!
I got maybe a bit more fast trainers this morning, but these guys seem more to be other players selling young fast trainers from their youth academy as opposed to Nordeus teams generating players. Could be that it's a natural result of other players needing money to buy scout players and hence there being more players on the market including some fast trainers.
that's an important thing of this "mini-game".Quote:

To spot the nordgen from the academy players as those have similar characteristics but they aren't fast trainers.
Ah ok, I thought the academy players could be fast trainers too.
How do you know if you got a fast trainer or not after acquiring a kid? Is there some kind of test in the new version? I think I saw someone talk about some model in the old version but I don't remeber.
only those with the tokens, not the freeQuote:

I wrote about it in the summary
Hi,
The recommended players to buy with 79 tokens, are they good and worth buying or juts waste of tokens?
Thanks
I mostly get 21 years old but today I get forward 20 years old. For level 9 the value was 27 (not to be paid :)) and tokens 79. This seems fine to me so I bought that :)
yes, as Bunzo saying, if you have a recommendation about 19 y.o. with some good (and unique) positions, take them.
What I mean
ST + AML-R
MC-DMC or MC-DMC
also with good special abilities (avoid penalty specialists)
They are fast trainers, 6* players and young so much better that from scout list players wich cost the same but they are 2-3 years older.
Niko can I ask you a favor? I cannot quite understand how you best recognize if a player you bought actually was a fast trainer or not? I've tried to read what has been written but I don't quite grasp it, could you just break it down for me? :) (I definitely understand if you don't have the time for it)
tomorrow
I wrote a mini-guide in a separate thread

p62 LV24 - Testing
Level 24, 1st day of the season and let's see what we can get here.
The market, early in the morning had some interesting fast trainers.
Attachment 70722
I bought a GK and 3 more players with 1T.
Attachment 70723
When I saw Almassi with C-K sa, I thought this is a good case.
But before round 1, there were already a bidding war about him :p
Finally the guy with Arsenal emblem didn't participate in round 1 and I won the other guy by bidding in the last second of round 3.
Goood
Attachment 70724
I used them in the Cup game.
Using Issaka - AML - as AMR, maybe to give him this extra position.
The first half was tragic. Starting with a 4-5-1 V, defense/counter/flanks, I was loosing 2-0
Crazy ?
Attachment 70725
After the brake, I did a sub and switched to attack, high pressing, hard tackling, of side and scored 4 goals.
Attachment 70726
Then I played a friendly game to have a better picture.
Attachment 70727
Gaining after the game (almost all had the same +50-55 )
Attachment 70728
And did some training to see their gaining.
All are fast trainers (Gain, gain more :) )
Attachment 70729
but I didn't have empty position for Isaaka so I sold him as I wasn't impressed.
as Almassi who won a 2nd MoM title in the 2nd leg of the Cup.
It looks we have a gem here :D
Attachment 70731
I 'm not sure yet about my GK.
Only one save in three games.
Let's wait a little more.
League is starting tomorrow :)
p63 LV25
No nordgen today :(
This happening some times. It was good that I have some from previous season.
So I bought some common players from the market.
I used the old version to examine few things.
Barasri, a new young ST I bought. As I got him from another manager and not a bot team, I suspected that he wasn't a fast trainer but probably a 0T academy player.
Indeed, his numbers in training are terrible :( (a fast trainer in 3 bars, practice match has about +100 avg like those two player in the pic, Sahia and Isaaka, from previous season).
Ok, no problem, I bought him because he had good stats at scoring. After he 'll get 144 q, I 'll give an extra position so the rest of his sp go there and be able to sell him at the end of the season as q 144 player (and not 6* 145-146 :p ).
Ronaldo, the star of the team, ex-nordgen super fast trainer, even if he is 25 y.o. , the 7th season in my team, still can get X2 or X3 than Barasri.
A +65 is descent gaining for every 6* player.
Adding some sp from the games and MoM titles, I 'll keep him for sure as a 6* player next season too.
Hulk , a nordgen I bought last season, also can do a good gaining of +85.
Niko/Bunzo/Nash and Co.- I need your help! :)

Is this kid a top notch fast trainer?
I recon its not worth getting him as opposed to getting a 99% FT 18 y/o of the market, but I have only seen one AMR or MR or DMR on the market the last three season, and one of my twin accounts snatched him up. I am looking to get a DMR with Shadow Striker Ability (ie also add MR/AMR to him), and often these kids are like DMC and DMR or MR and MC which mess with my plan.
IIRC, I have seen you explain how kids costing a certain amount of Tokens are fast trainers, but I don't remember the details. And I can't find the info again.
I have started to use a benchmark to find out if a player is a fast trainer by adding a new position or Special Ability and run 6 Fast counter attack drills. If they are fast trainers, they shall get 1+ every 4th drill. My drills are level 4, so if anyone have lower they must calibrate. But it definitely works. The kid must be completely fresh, but if you buy like a 99% kid and just play him in a game or two and practice him so that he likes go to 101%, he will only get 1+ every 5-6th drill.
I don't want to gamble 24 tokens on the kid above without being almost certain.
yes , he is a fast trainer and he can get a +150 (3 bars/practice, from the old training system).Quote:
Is this kid a top notch fast trainer?
But besides 24T you must give greens : +40 to add AMR, +40 to sa, +60 to make him 5* player, +70 to make him a good 6* player = about 200 greens.
Will he be good ? I would bet he 'll be.
But it's a lot of greens.
I 've wrote (here or in the other thread about new-old version training), about that test.Quote:

Drills wich give condition loss of about -18, must give +1 to new role or sa.
But one training isn't enough.
Remember the ( progress) blue bar of the old version which is hidden now.
Four training can give us some conclusion.
hm, I was thinking "The Natural" with Roberd Redford, but I don't have many examples.Quote:
Can't you do one for Academy Players, topic: Roberto Rossellini?
I had only one academy player so far.
Nik- Thanks so much. I would jump on a 99% 18 y/o MR, have been looking for one quite some time. The development from 99% to 140% is budgeted.
But like you say, it's a lot of greens. 24 tokens=24 greens. From 71% to 99%, I don't know how fast it will go. 28%x15 abilities= 435 %. Can he avg maybe 4.35% per 15% condition loss session? Ouch that means it would cost 100 greens to get him to 99%. Hm sounds a bit high... Or? Probably loose at least 100 greens in relation to finding a 99% fast trainer.
I am thinking to do it once to experiment, if I do I will post the data here! :)
I've calculated on some fast trainers, and I get something like 24-26 ability increases for 100 condition loss.
Now I don't have access to the best drills yet and you may find some better fast trainers than mine.
So I would make the calculations with 30 increases for 100 condition loss
(as I said previously, I found that friendly game average a bit over the above 0.3 but the problem with them is they're more time consuming and the abilities that increase are more random as opposed to a training program where you know what abilities are increased. however for raising SA and extra positions, it's worth looking into)
So with the above, 4.5% per 15% condition loss, 28% = 97 rest packs
We can conclude also that every % under 99% we buy our player requires 3.5 rest packs to gain
Great Rautz! I will keep a book on him.
Got him, and I can already say that he trains -- a lot -- faster than the best 99% Nordgens. Will come back with numbers, since I am adding two abilities and one SA, I will make up some of the greens lost to go from 71 to 99%.
New record for me when adding a new position/SA, 34 green packs or 149 Fast Counter Attack practices. Very impressive. Will save about 10 greens give or take a few with this kid as opposed to the pace it takes for a 99% fast trainer.
Sometimes I even get a plus every other practice, but mostly every third:
Attachment 71544
I have built a book/spreadsheet on the kid I picked up.
He got from 71% to 77%, (exactly 80 skill% added) while loosing exactly 236 condition%, which gives the factor 0.34 gain%/condition.loss%. Would give 5.1 per 15% condition loss. But I expect it to slow down a bit once he gets to 5 stars.
Ok I got this kid to 99% now.
This is how it worked out:
+DMR -- 34 Rests
+AMR -- 35 Rests
+Shadow Striker -- 34 Rests
From 71% to 99% -- 80 Rests
Total: 183 Rests
The same cost for a 99% kid you pick up is basically 44x3=132 Rests. So the extra cost ended up being "just" 51 Rests. And 24 tokens since I signed him from the youth academy. Zero money. So I probably saved like around 2m compared to a 99% kid and 8.3m compared to getting someone on the market as opposed to someone from the Youth Academy.
These are the conclusions I draw:
-Its rare, but sometimes you see a fast trainer with two positions and a SA (often Corner-specialist for some reason...), if the positions and SA fits your bill, its cheaper to pick up a 4 star fast trainer with an extra position and a SA than a 5 star 99% kid.
-If you are hard-pressed for money, is it better to pick up a 3-4 star kid and train them? Well, I don't know how fast a 3 star kid trains, but it is not worth it with a 4 star kid. Instead of loosing 50 rests, you can farm 50x57$=2.8m, I think the money you are saving is about 2m. At my level at least.
-If you like are looking for a Fast-Trainer at a certain position and just cannot find someone, it is -- not -- an extremely bad deal to go with a 4 star kid instead. 50 Rests is a big cost, but its worth it if the option is to go 2-3 seasons without filling a position on your team that must be filled.
What do you guys think?
Now I just have to figure out if this kid can perform or not... ;)
Attachment 71661
1. Does a 4* star academy player ever come with 2 positions or SA?
Because if you need just to boost him to 99% and give 1/3 things (Position/Sa) you gave to your player then packs are reduced to 120.
2. Is the 4* academy player always a really fast trainer?
3. On post #353 I see something weird.. you used same kind of drills yet in one training player gained 2 positions. When I do training for position/SA with same kind of drills I get the same exact results , for example I get +1 for 5 consecutive same drills (this will result in some trainings to gain +2 but again the difference between each +1 is 5 drills) I cannot explain how your player gained +2 with 1-2 drills difference :(
That's what I wrote in #348, so my estimation was right.Quote:

But it's a lot of greens.
well, that's a lot of greens, plus the 24 token.Quote:

Now that there is a limit of about 30 greens per day, it's not worthy the investment (unless you have saved or do a tanking season).
You 're right about the money but with those 24 token, a better investment is to buy a recommended player but he must be the third, the young and more expensive. Of course your team must have a relative quality because if q is too high, you 'll get recommendations of 79 token :p
Academy players never have a s.a. and mostly have only one position (DR, ML, DMC :( ), but you can find often nordgens with sa.
The 21T, 24T usually are fast trainers.
Here, I bought nordgen with sa. #304
http://forum.topeleven.com/tutorials...ainers-31.html
I gave Alexander Ernel(L.MOURA) + MC position (which is more helpful than DMR, in my formations), spending about 50 greens and with 50 greens more I raised his q.
I kept him for 4 seasons, finishing as high q 6* player - starting as 5* the next season and reaching again the 7*. Very few extra greens need for that (if you do the daily set of drills for the bonus).
Then I sold him with nego, 2 token.
He could play one more season with a high quality.
