In Nikols post he mentioned below:

"Another way is to put a set of drills with 15-18% condition loss and observe how many % skills a player can earn. If it’s +4 skills, it’s good (4 skills are one old skill point for those who are familiar with the old version or reading the old posts with the s.p. – cones)."

I was wondering if this means 4 skills in every set or just if the player would sometimes get +4 skills

e.g. I have a player in 5 sets he got

    +3
    +3
    +1
    +4
    +2

but one in every 10 sets or so he will get +0, sorry I should have tested this better and only did it with my last few rests

I saw this player sometimes even get +6

If his ability is from 80%-99% then he is not a FT.
But gaining skills depends on how high is his "white skills".
So if his skills are below 100% then he certainly isn't a FT.

    This is slightly confusing -

cant you just buy a young player that has an ability of 80% and make him go past 100% with rests and games because they gain quickly making him a fast trainer?

Ι guess my english are bad.
A FT gains 4-5 skills per 15-18% condition loss, but this happens only if his training skills are below 100%.
For example this player is a Fast Trainer.

IF we train this player with Press the Play he certainly not going to gain 4-5 per 15-18% condition loss.
But if we train him with Skill Drill then he will gain 4-5 skill per 15-18% condition loss.

to understand how the training system works.

Ohhhh I get it now, no problem! Your English is very good considering it is not even your first language

Yes, I get that you have maxed out this training drill 'press the play' so you train with other drills that have not been maxed so you can still gain 4-5 skills

    Really appreciate your help

I just read this from your post:

"The most efficient way to train is to have 1-2 skill under 70-80a or even lower in each drill you train."

Which I think is key so i've just edited it in here for future reference

EDIT: as a final question when I'm testing for fast trainer is there specific training drills I should use? (if I am going to test it with a special ability or position)

You should train the player with drill that have the lowest number on players attributes.
So for the player below you should use Press the Play.

This tool will tell you which drill is the most efficient for a specific player.

Thats great! by the way, when do you think is the best time to focus on the grey stats

Should we maximise white stats first to maybe 150 (before the 1 skill per rest limit) then focus on increasing the greys. Then do this every season?

Just wondering the best way to approach the players potential

    Thank you

I only buy 3star players from auctions.
Then t train white skills till they reach 140-150%.
After that i use mix drills which trains white and low grey attributes.
After several seasons my player looks like this:

I have not tested if a player with high white skills is better from a player
with lower white skill but same quality.
White attributes nerfed for sure, but maybe they still play a small part.

Wow, do you think this technique allows you to keep players for longer and not sell them when their rate of improvement slows down as they age?

If you don’t mind me asking...how much does this technique cost in Tokens/Greens? Specifically in comparison to buying a player, in an auction, that is already at 90+%. From what I have seen while I can buy a 3star player for a token or two it then cost me more to train the player up to 90+% than it would to buy a player of similar quality in an auction (I estimate 30 - 50 tokens).
Of course the way you are doing it results in probably a better 90+% player with higher white skills.
